This place needs to invest in some customer service training. My wife stood waiting for at least 15 Minutes while being ignored by 3 separate members of staff who were trying to sort out an issue with the till. If she hasnt been with my elderly mother and young son she would of walked out, like the 2 others behind her in the queue did. The food was decent but the staff are not! ??

Popped in and staff were rude from the get to, instead of a simple polite excuse me it was a rude tone. Then proceeded to point out where the queue was in a very rude and judgmental tone when we were simply looking at the menu. Wouldn?t go again, service ruined it.

Rudest staff ever. Seems reserved for customers over 75. Cafe half full but told by the most vicious nasty rude server I?ve ever met that tables are reserved! Borderline comical it was that bad. Safe to say we went elsewhere.

I got there 7 minutes before closing time today.Member of staff refused to serve us anything. Told us they had already closed, she just couldn?t be bothered.Judging from the other reviews, bad customer service isn?t a one off here.

I've given a one star purely for the lovely taste of the icecream, however there is a member of your staff there who needs to learn how to speak to customers. She is supposed to be upselling your products not telling my husband and daughter that 3 scoops of icecream is too much (that was the first occasion) and then on a second occasion (around 6 weeks later) both my daughter's and their friend we're looked up and down by the same member of staff and told that 'little girls should not be having that much icecream" and refused to give them what they were paying and asking for. Really poor customer service and her attitude for a grown woman is disgusting.

I can't rate the food because we got tired of waiting and being ignored so eventually left to take our custom elsewhere. We stood at the counter for about five minutes and despite the fact that three members of staff were present, not one of them bothered to acknowledge us, say they'd be with us shortly or even make eye contact. One lady was making a sandwich, one was at the till, and one was loitering behind the counter as if hoping not to be seen. There were two people in the queue when we arrived. One had been served by the time we left, the other was still waiting. None of the staff seemed to have any sense of urgency or any sense of customer service - just a simple "hello" would have made all the difference to confirm that they knew we were waiting. We'd planned to order paninis but the menu gave no clues as to the flavours available so as well as being unimpressed by the staff attitude there was every chance that by the time we'd been served we'd have found there were no ingredients that we fancied anyway. It wasn't even peak time - it was 2.30. I see from the reviews that we're not the only ones to notice the lack of politeness. You may be getting on in years, ladies, but it doesn't mean you can just go through the motions at work and forget your manners. Much customer service training needed at Beckleberry's.

The milkshakes are divine, getting one is not a pleasure. Staff routinely ignore customers. We stood in front of the ice creams trying to work out what the flavours are. No labels. Member of staff actively turned her back on us and continued to prepare a blue ice cream cone. We tried to catch her eye - shop not too busy, nobody queuing. My child who has learning difficulties smiled at her, walked along the counter still trying to catch her eye and then told me he thought she was 'rude' - I agreed. Eventually another member of staff came to see what we wanted, she told us we could have any of the flavours as milk shake. I looked at her in anticipation, Eventually she quickly rhymed off all the flavours too quickly for us to take in so we just said strawberry. Yet again it does feel to me like customers are more of a hinderence than anything else. Such a shame - do the staff know their attitude comes across as rude?
