Spent a few hours here having drinks and then some food. Both food dishes were excellent (tuna and salmon), just about the right size portion and nicely presented.

Excellent menu choices that make the food more restaurant than pub while the drinks make it a pub. The decor is quirky and worth the visit alone. And then, of course, there are amazing photographs.

Quaint little pub with a mix of good wholesome food options.
Accommodating staff with pick up options for a Sunday Dinner which is amazing. Pretty sure the toilets are haunted but don't let that put you off the cheese suffle!

Fabulous, quirky pub. The food is great and plenty of choice. The unusual homemade dessert are not to be missed. The staff are great and very friendly. Definitely be back

Canny pub for something a bit different if you don't go often. I live locally but don't often come as it's pretty expensive and the menu hadnt actually changed since I was there over 2 years ago. The food is good. I had the crab lasagne and it was tasty but not that crabby ?
Service was okay, they didn't come and check on us after serving the food and i had to get up to get someone's attention to get a new drink and some mayo.
The actual pub itself is obviously quirky but all the random things hanging around could do with a clean.
Not in a rush to revisit but worth a try if you've not been before.

Great wee place and first pub I made my regular when first moved down from Leith some 11 years ago. Has real cosy feel to the place with great staff and has mix of local regulars and visitors. Next to ancient Parish church of St Nicholas which is worth a visit. Parking is not a problem providing there isn't a wedding or funeral next door to the pub. Fine for wheelchair users and help is at hand if needed. Often families go there for meals with very good chef and the days when good to be outside it has adequate space. There is often a fire outside to keep patrons warm if pub inside is busy. Definitely worth the visit.
