Visited with the wife & kids. Literally every item ordered was lovely. The lamb was beautiful. Staff are attentive and friendly. We'll 100% be back.
Free parking across the road as well.

This was the monthly stop on our curry club for May. What a choice. The food was excellent with a great choice on the menu, all of the classics you expect to see but some really good options in the chefs specialities section.
The gents running the show on the night were fantastic hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and having good craic with the group.
Highly recommend this place.

Tried because reviews looked good, room was a bit cold but restaurant looked nice. Ordered a chef?s special and Tikka main. Salad was a bit basic a the tikka dish a bit plain, not much fried onion/pepper with it. I ordered chips with my main and was surprised that they were just boring frozen chips. My main was nice enough though. As a Shields person who has many Indian restaurants on doorstep, this, I would say was rather average and a bit of a disappointment. Probably won?t return.

Visited with a friend , I ordered chicken shashlik which I have all the time but from different restaurants, first time I've been here for years and ordered same dish, I was asked if I wanted the shashlik dry or in a sauce, I didn't even know it came in a sauce so I asked for it dry and with extra mint sauce and no salad, the 2 meals came at the same time but mine came in a sauce, the sauce was bland and the chicken looked like supermarket processed chicken, I told the waiter I asked for dry shashlik and he blamed the chef, I couldn't eat the meal as it was tasteless and didn't even look nice.
The owner passed my table and I quietly complained to him, however he gave me a dirty look and walked straight past.
The bill came and I could not believe he charged me the full amount for the meal I did not eat or even order.
This place used to be nice ( years ago).
Will never be back here again.

5/5. Beef Madras lovely - more meat than I expected. Mopped up with a delicious peshwari naan. Great place to dine in or take away. South Shields might have it's "curry mile" but it is worth going out of your way to visit this place. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and staff are friendly.
