My wife and I went here for the first time after hearing good things. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Brooke and Helen were lovely and attentive. The price was more than reasonable. We will definitely be back soon

The food is excellent, beautifully presented and big portions - really good value for money. They also have a vegan/dairy free menu, big kids menu and even offer meals for pups! Our dog was absolutely stuffed after her big bowl of meat, mash and gravy!

I've only been here once for a casual lunch, but would return. The menu is varied and the food was delicious. The portions were a little on the large side, but that's not a problem, just suggest perhaps sharing a dish in future.
They have options to cater for various dietary requirements including a separate vegan menu. The bar is also well stocked.
Lovely friendly service reminding me why I love being in the North East so much.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely buffet for my partners wake. Only criticism would be that people had started to leave before the sweet was brought out. Pity because it was very nice.

Can not fault this place. Food is soooooo tasty! The raspberry pavlova ice cream was amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly and the pub has great decor and an even better atmosphere

Fabulous find! Was visiting Gibside and wanted somewhere to go for dinner after. We have booked, but squeezed us in and were wonderful from start to finish. Lovely sun trap of a terrace, classy inside and AMAZING food. Despite a 50mins journey home we will be back.
