Even a month sin e visiting and reviewing this and if anything the place is an even more dangerous place to shop. One presumed for security reasons the place has more barriers than the Laurie & Symington livestock auction market in Lanark where, as a 16 yr old, one could be lost among the sheep, coos and various stalls. It makes me wonder how they get away with a fire incident on the weekend or near Christmas when it can be chaotic and would cause a major disaster. With just two entrances/exits at one end of a store well over 100 yards long it really is a potential death trap. Yes it has an exit/entrance at the North Road end, but that has been locked shut for the last five years since mid March 2020 and there appears to be
no indication as to a well thought out system of organised evacuation. This is why I tend to use it when it is quiet - not for me death In a stampede!

They need to add more changing room upstairs. Create one specially for men because last time I was there d queue was long taking turn. Women naturally takes time to change so create space for men

I am a wheelchair user. Only 2 wide aisle tills open when I visited today! I spoke to an Asda member of staff and tried to explain they were breaking the law and The Equality Act states disabled people must be afforded same level of service as able bodied shoppers. She was more than happy that only 2 out of 24 tills were available for me to use. An appalling lack of awareness and the indifference shown towards me beggared belief! For a national store to have such a disregard for it's customers is a disgrace

We visited on a Monday afternoon our first time in this store we did not encounter any issues with the store it's self however the woman on the cheek out was one of the most ignorant people I have ever come across in that particular job she was holding a full conversation with the person in front of us she clearly knew this person and just continued talking to her even after she had finished serving her and she went on and on she never even made eye contact with me absolutely! Appalling customer service.

Drove to Asda Boldon for my weekly shop. Not local to me at all but fancied somewhere different for my shopping. There were no scan and go guns in the entrance so asked a staff member if there were any available as I have back trouble and find this easier. They said yes I?ll go and get some. We waited and waited and then noticed around the other side of the scan and go charging unit there was activity. The staff member had put 3 guns in and other customers had taken them!!! We?ve walked out and will go to Sainsbury from now on!! Disgraceful !!

I was shopping in Asda Boldon today 31.05.24 and asked one gentleman near the electricals for help but he said he couldn't. However I went to the basket self service around 3.30pm and there was a young gentleman working there who went out of his way to help and find the mobile phone accessory I needed. I am sorry I didn't get his name but he was a credit to Asda
