The optician made me feel relaxed with her professionalism and answered any questions I had about my eyes also the staff were very friendly,polite and I would have no problem recommending Specsavers Blaydon to friends and family.

Apart from the fact I don?t think I?ve ever been seen at the time of my appointment - they?re always running late, today I?ve turned up and they couldn?t do my test as the computer hasn?t allocated both contact lense and eye sight check. They should?ve checked this before I turned up and didn?t. What a wasted journey!!! Very frustrating.

I was made to feel welcome and the staff were professional but friendly.i didn't feel judged for not having a test since 2018.They found I have an issue with my left eye,which they explained calmly about and in words I could understand rather than medical jargon.That made me feel that they care about their customers.I got 2 pairs of new glasses on the 2 for £70 offer as I was on a budget.Highly recommend Specsavers at blaydon ?

It's been a couple of years since my last visit to Specsavers Blaydon and have to say there was a vast improvement. I noticed some staff no longer work there. The staff now are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful and not at all pushy. Would recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience and if you are a foreigner like myself please do not go there?we have checked in for my daughter and a customer that came after us and checked after us, they let him go and assisted him before us, was only after chasing again we were seen?left with no words as is 2025 and still this happening?

From walking into specsavers blaydon & up to leaving I found all the staff very nice. Everything was explained thoroughly during the visit. Great choice of glasses to choose from. I would highly recommend a visit.

Brilliant Service from start to finish , worried about my change in vision I made my appointment, I struggle with PTSD & I was concerned about my anxiety showing on arrival , a super young gentleman did the first half of my appointment with puffs of air in my eyes He was kind & patient which put me at ease . I commented on his artwork of his tattoo which was a fabulous talking point to get my anxiety in check. I was then introduced to Aysha who performed my examination, empathetic & kind, Aysha explained everything and put me at ease . Such an amazing person I was so very grateful for her support throughout the examination, I had all my questions answered in a way I fully understood. I then met Helen who helped me with my choice of frames , a wonderful lady with a fabulous personality & smile , i can?t thank you all enough , it was a blessing I went to your shop and I am deeply grateful for your professional service & kindness I was shown. I have been getting my eyes tested here for years and although I had never previously needed glasses the tests were showing they were gradually getting worse with age. I recently had an eye test and subsequently new glasses. The whole process was really straightforward I needed a couple of visits and everything was straightforward and the staff were really professional and helpful.
