I went to Lloyd's Blaydon to set up a Standing order on 26 September, I gave them all the relevant information and was told that it would be set up. I called this morning to see that it had been paid out on the 5 of October only to find it had not been set up and therefore not paid into the relevant account .The lady we spoke to could not find any relevant paperwork corresponding to our account and we had to return home to get all the information again and return to Lloyd's and once again go through the whole process again, a total waste of our morning

Everything is so much harder than it needs to be. Things that aren?t a problem with my regular bank are impossible with Lloyds. Medieval level of tech, and archaic business practice makes simple things virtually impossible. When I offered solutions on the spot (emailing them the invoice that I couldn?t get printed out) they ?couldn?t accept external email. What?? Did I accidentally time travel to the seventies? They have hundreds of thousands of family money and they won?t print out an invoice. Tell you what, when probate is granted they won?t see that money for dust, and I?ll be encouraging other family to transfer their interests as well. Extremely polite staff, which is why they got two stars. If it was based on operations and admin processes I?d have given a zero.

I only gave 1 star as they didn't have a minus 10 website saying they are open at Blaydon and Prudhoe but both closed. I was trying to put cash in my account to keep in the black. I rang the bank and they said they will charge me if I go in the red. So I have to pay for their problems. I asked when they will be open again and they said they don't know just go into Newcastle I don't have time to waste as I am a carer. Time to change banks I think

Cannot recommend them enough. Had a brill experience at this branch today. Was given excellent advice, shown how to deposit a cheque, advised on how long it would take (a lot quicker than I'd expected) & also issued with a PIN reminder as I have a new Lloyds Club Account. Superb customer service from the lady who dealt with me. Very pleasant & helpful. Certainly going to return.

My sister was in the branch last Saturday morning and had a bit of a do with the cash point machine a young male employee came to her rescue sorry we didn't get his name very smiley helpful and excellent customer service it didn't go unnoticed thankyou

Completely useless bank. I've now moved 3 accounts from various banks to Santander but this one was my personal account and after having been with Lloyds for over 20 years I didn't expect to want to shift this one well....... Everything, I mean even the simplest thing is a total nightmare with Lloyds. ZERO support when you need it. No relationship with anyone from the bank. Everytime I've ever needed something which has been offered later by another bank with no problem at all Lloyds has failed. This is not an attack on the shop floor workers but the way the bank operates. Its lousy go somewhere else
