Serving customers at the tills is low down on their list of priorities. Dreadful attitude from Sophie who eventually appeared. Another member of staff had seen me waiting but decided to ignore me. Sophie really doesn't like customers whistling to get attention and made her feelings known in the most unprofessional way possible. I would give this shoplifters' paradise 0 stars if possible.

Visiting the area and used this Co op, while standing in the queue a member of staff noticed the woman in front of me wasn't looking too well, she rapidly approached her and noticed the lady was having the start of a seizure, her quick response and the fact she noticed this so quickly has to be applauded, well done to all who helped too and hope the lady made a full recovery ?

Great little supermarket, well priced, and a pretty good selection for a local supermarket. All the staff are fantastic. Suffer from Epilepsy and recently had a seizure in the shop, and the girls phoned an ambulance and really looked after me. I can't fault their service 5?

Some prices are pretty absurd, can be quite frustrating when you can compare them to the shop next door and work out that they are almost half the price. However, when they have deals, a lot of them are an absolute snatch. It's really a hit or miss shop, the staff are always friendly though.

All the shops in Winlaton have been great during lockdown.The Co-op, Spar, Chemists, McCutchens paper shop etc, The Handyman ,the Appliance centre,and Hiltons Fabulous Butchers and more besides .The Churches St.Annes ,St.Pauls and others with the Community Centre have been wonderful.

At least one of the staff is a theif that i know of. (small chubby little expletive) Charged me £10.50 for tobacco even tho it flashed up on the register £9.50 ask for a receipt to make sure they aint screwing you over too.
