Look at the comments Boots Management! This shop needs more staff! The woman behind the counter was lovely and can only do so much but she was on her own, the pharmacist had taken their lunch break (nothing wrong with that, they still need a break!) but she couldn't give anyone their prescriptions or sell anything from behind the counter and she had to send everyone away. Needless to say, half an hour later, when people came back including me, the queue - already long as there are so few staff - was now queuing out of the door. Desperately needs another staff member for just general purchases while one focuses on prescriptions. As Superdrug opposite has seemingly closed down, it's only going to get worse.

The staff at blaydon boots are lovely helpful people .. i understand some folk will get frustrated if they dont get their meds when they want them but the staff are always rushed off their feet with a work overload and i myself have witnessed some bad mannered and very impolite people talking to the staff with no respect whatsoever .. if thats you please stop and think about what youd do if these people decided theyd had enough and quit .. no boots in blaydon anymore ! Im sure that wouldnt help your health situation any better would it ?!! Start appreciating them instead of taking them for granted ..

Boots, Blaydon on 15/3/2024 : have left one star and that is for the branch being open at all. Went in for over the counter cold remedy but queue stretched back to main doors, so walked out and tried Boyes, Superdrug, Morrisons and home Bargains but none of them the remedy I wanted, went back to Boots and queue was just as long . So I decided to start queueing as I was desperate for cold medicine, queued and queued. Counted at least 3 members of staff but only one working on counter!!!!!!???? Apparently Boots at Winlaton has shut so everybody's going to Blaydon for their prescriptions. Thanks a bunch Boots management! It may save you money but you loose customers doing that. I wouldn't have minded but NO APOLOGY WHAT SO EVER from the woman on the counter or anybody at the branch - disgusting attitude. Think twice about going there in the future.

Prescription placed on Mon 4th,last tablets took on the 6th,but don't worry,its only for high blood pressure, so 4 days now without medication,so if I have another stroke or heart attack it's down to you,BOOTS pharmacy in Blaydon

Tried to ring 4 times for status of prescription ordered a week ago. Phone number diverts to what appears a fax line or similar, obviously don't like incoming calls

Used this pharmacy for a number of years They used to be very good but have rapidly gone down hill over the last year or so. Some of the more recent staff can be miserable, rude and condescending.
