Nice pub, friendly staff and decent (ish) food. But 2 stars is the cost. Very expensive. £18 for a small burger and chips? And I know everyone is ripping us off with the price of a pint but £17 for 2 pints and a bag of nuts is daylight robbery. Im guessing £7.50 a pint? Its a shame as would love to go more often but got greedy. If i worked there I'd be embarrassed to present the bill. Clearly targeting the rich.

We were recommended to this pub by someone who works nearby. It was a celebration for us. We were immediately shown to our table and orders taken and drinks supplied. It went down from there. We waited for the ravioli starter for 40 minutes and when it arrived looked attractive, but was not cooked. We got the waiter to take it back; he was very apologetic, but then another 10 minutes no food or explanation so we left. Extremely disappointed.
It was a lovely looking pub and location but appalling service. We won?t bother trying again.

Visited as they were hosting the local Craft group. Plenty of parking, very pleasant staff, and a guy who can make my coffee as weak as I love it to be. I didn't eat this visit but have previously and the food was delicious.

One of those places you forget about until you go again and realise how good it really is.
With the addition of the ?seating on the green? it?s the perfect place to while away a Saturday afternoon.

It's really disappointing! The food was nice, but so expensive and the portions were tiny. 18 pound for a chicken burger, about 15 fries and nothing else. Most of those were scrap pieces. The targine had 3 minscule pieces of flat bread, and the two of the smallest pieces of brocoli I've ever seen.
Drink orders were wrong, and allergies weren't checked. Food came with nuts on it.
Committed my two cardinal sins when it comes to food. Skimping on chips. And even worse; paid £50 and we both left hungry!

Nice clean pub. Good food. Friendly helpful staff. But, it just seems like a dog kennels sometimes. Slobber on my dress was the last straw. Shame really.

A traditional pub in a pretty village. Carparking on site, with public carparking close by. There is a garden to the side and back with plenty of seating. Food is mouthwatering and very enjoyable. Staff are friendly and courteous and attentive. We had a perfect family evening, and would love to visit again.
