We had a late lunch with friends, we were looked after by Katie and Tristan.
1 started with with a fabulous Bang,bang peanut salad with roasted cauliflower and tofu,
2 of us had the plaice fillets with paparedelle pasta in the most stunning lobster sauce. truly beautiful.

My first visit to the Red Lion was on a work retirement meal. We were a group of ~40. I'm gluten free so always nervous about options available. I phoned in advance, spoke to the Manager who was fab and took his time to talk me through the options.
I chose the GF fish and chips.
The retirement event was excellent... all the Red Lion staff so friendly & efficient. Those at our event commented on how great the food was. Everything was served hot and on time.
As for my fish & chips ... absolutely delicious.
Well done to all the team at the Red Lion.

Second visit here following work trips. The fact that this place is always busy is a recommendation in itself. Once again the food was superb - so good that we both had three courses rather than our usual two. The staff were all working speedily and efficiently, but we have to give special mention to Ellie who served us. When people moan that young folk "don't want to work" they should see this friendly lass in action! As a real ale drinker the choice on offer was a little uninspiring but it is probably being churlish to mention this. We will be in the area next year and and as soon as we know the date another booking will be made!

Made my first visit today and I cannot fault anything about the staff, service, or food. The restaurant was packed, but the service was super quick and super friendly. We had two of the roast dinners and they were honestly the best we've ever had.

Pre-booked a table for 2 based on good reviews and enjoyed excellent food and service. The pub is in a nice area a short walk from the Woking West Premier Inn.

I found this place whilst traveling as my Premier Inn restaurant was closed. They were so accommodating even though they were very busy. The food was delicious and the interior of the restaurant and the atmosphere were just beautiful. The prices were reasonable too. I would absolutely visit again if I was in the area. Thank you for saving my evening!

Extremely helpful during the booking process, really took the time to understand and fulfil my requirements. Waitress was efficient and polite, the service was excellent.
The food was delicious and hot and I'm pretty sure my goats cheese tart was homemade! Yum! I Definitely excellent value for money. Nice sweets too.
Plenty of parking, varied seating and a great atmosphere.
