Lovely place they really care for each animal. Thinking of returning to adopt.

Wanted to adopt a pet. Staff felt very negative, rude, and aggressive towards me. It feels like they don't want to give the pets for adoption.I'll report it because this is unacceptable.

Adopted Gabriella (now known as Bubbles) back in September 2022 as Dad wanted another cat due to his old cat passed away, me being at work and him left on his own most of the day. The volunteers were very helpful and giving advices about Bubbles being FIV positive. They looked after her as much as possible until someone like me was ready to adopt her. The day we got her home, she was shy but did come out of her shell within 2 weeks, she did not have a lot of fur (most of her fur were very rough around the edges) 1.5 years later, she is the most loveable, gentle and intelligent cat I ever seen. Always loves her pets, greets me everytime I come back from work, loves to meow in a cute way and never bites or scratches any of my stuff except for her own. Thank you RSPCA for this special cat.

I have very fond memories of the RSPCA, having volunteered and rescued many years ago, so I know first hand the care and dedication they offer. I like to pop in and donate and love attending their functions when I can. Having got a new dog ?, I couldn't possibly come away without buying something for her ?. This harness is just the softest, kindest harness, no rubbing, which I also bought for my previous 3 dogs 15yrs ago.

Adopted another puppy from here. The animals are extremely well cared for. Highly skilled staff. Lovely and knowledgeable, and the aftercare is Brilliant.

The day I stopped in I was told there was a problem of cat flu in the cattery, but also got negative vibes from a staff member at the reception desk! It seems really difficult to adopt a cat here, despite being told there are too many cats being born in the UK. I just bought a cat from a local family- she is healthy and sweet. I won't bother with the RSPCA in the future. They do have a very pretty grounds for their animals, though.

Went to meet two of the centre's ferrets, it's been a few years since I last adopted from them, new spacious reception, and small but nicely stocked area of pet products to buy, also with a selection of second hand beds and pet carriers. The 'small animal' house was fresh and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of staff or volunteers out exercising the dogs and the interactions they were having with them was lovely, they all looked very happy. Visitors are by appointment only which made for a very relaxed environment which can only be a positive thing for the animals.

I originally adopted a wonderful little staffie called Maggie from Millbrook back in January 2012. Sadly we lost our sweet girl seven years later to cancer. My experience at the centre was such a positive one, that I am back today (September 2023) to hopefully be given the chance to adopt a best buddy and new family member once more. A heartfelt thank you to all the dedicated and hard working members of staff who care for and allow a second chance to all the animals in their keeping.

Still waiting to hear if any action was carried out following my phone call to the RSPCA.

Didn't go there. Drove past. The gates looked wonderful and the grass in the field was green. This site keeps thinking that as I passed near to some locations, I've been there. I HAVEN'T! Do write a process that says if someone has spent 3 seconds "in" a location, the odds are they drove past.Damned annoying!
