Good gym. Friendly staff and good equipment. However, there are three issues that stand out: 1) people often do not unrack their weights (see photos attached) and it would be great if there are incentivised to do so by the management; 2) The gym is not always well air-conditioned and ventilated ?I sometimes feel like I am suffocating; 3) where have the rubber bands gone?I hope you take my feedback on board.Thank you.

I?ve noticed the past 2 weeks, the toilets have been unclean which is disappointing. The ladies sink is dirty & tissues all over the floor. If only people were sanitary & clean but.. please get some cleaners in :(

It's OK, could do with more benches, but then couldn't every generic gym? Avoid traditionally busy times if you can.OH and don't be surprised to see boat loads of girls in hilariously tight shorts that roll their tshirts up at the back. And the odd girl or two filming themselves (which is against the rules). Both things are, in my opinion) hilarious and unwelcome. The gym is there to get fit, big, whatever... Not some cringe attention grab zone.

I have started going to the gym for about a month. I find that it has all the equipment I need for my workouts. It is good value for money and there is free parking available. Wood be a good place for a beginner for sure.

Bought a day pass, never got sent a email with my pin but got a sales receipt. No staff in weight room, had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come and let me out. Dangerous.

I've been coming to Puregym Woking since 2017, it's a great gym with a variety of well run classes. I've tried a few classes at different Puregyms and Woking's are the best. However, I've been really disappointed by the changes to the class timetable recently and was gutted to hear that the Combat class on Tuesday evening run by David Lambe was being cancelled. This class has been by far my favourite class at Puregym. David teaches combat technique, runs a great warm up and the class includes conditioning plus group/social exercises. Not only is this class fun and social, it's super challenging and I've seen the most benefit physically (and mentally) by coming to this class. After looking at the timetable, I couldn't see another class that is taking it's place - please could this class be kept? I would give a 5* review but had to bring it down to 3* because I'm gutted that this class has been cancelled.

This review is about senior management at Pure Gym. The staff at my local gym in Woking are fantastic. The gym is beginning to get rather tatty due to a lot of the machines getting quite old. The situation has significantly been aggravated by senior management having decided to remove the cleaning stations (The local staff are very unhappy about this although it is an extra chore to keep the stations topped up). Not only does this not help with the general appearance but also the safety and pleasantness of using the gym as people are expected to bring their own cleaning materials (How clean and effective are those?).It?s winter now but there will definitely be more sweating in summer and it already is not good to arrive at a sweaty machine! Do I really want to wipe off someone else?s sweat with my towel?COVID is still about and there are other skin infections such as fungal and viral (herpes) which would survive on warm moist seats, but the biggest problem is just the aesthetics of it all.I?d happily pay 50p more for my membership which must be all it would cost as a lot of people do not bother to clean even when cleaning stations are available.Come on management.I notice the gym group in Woking have nice cleaning stations.

Extremely disappointed with the removal of the cleaning stations (disinfectant and wipes). Most people don't use a towel in the gym. Gym guidelines say you are meant to clean the equipment when you are done using it. With what? Am I meant to place my towel over someone else's sweat puddle?

I love Pure Gym, and then Annie started coaching us; and now I?m obsessed with the gym! Her encouragement to support each other in classes, the fun and the singing, the high impact and her professional attention to our form and progress will truly keep members coming!

Joined a short while ago, and so far so good. Friendly staff, good facilities and a nice variety of classes. It does get a bit busy at times, but it's that time of year. Good range of equipment and enough cardio equipment for a quick turnaround time when it is busy. All in all, recommendable!

Best equipped gym in Woking for the price - even for myself for competitive powerlifting.Cleanliness levels a lot better than most local venues, thoroughly recommend.P.s. After recent refurbishments, even better setup!

Lovely gym with friendly staff. Evenings can get busy but that doesn't stop me from coming ?
