Premier inn itself no issues. Pub next door serving food, diabolical service. Now only serving food 6.00pm till 9pm and had to wait an hour for my food
Not what you need after a day driving and working away.
Whoever owns these pubs needs a kick up the behind, what's wrong with serving food at 5pm to avoid the queues.

Had a recent 1 night stay at Woking West, chosen for the location, which was good. After checking in we did notice that the air-con wasn't on and that a large fan had been left in the room. Because it was already late and only a 1 night stay, we decided to cool the room with the fan and it was adequate and not to noisy as to stop us from sleeping. The next morning at breakfast in the Bridge Barn we were informed that we would not be able to have the cooked breakfast that we had booked, only continental breakfast, because they didn't have a chef. We did stay to have what breakfast there was and we did get a full refund on the breakfast.

Overall great value for money, but the new entry card system gets 0 out of 10 from us?....3 out of 4 days we needed to get new pass cards, we were in the annex and tried contacting reception via intercom which also wasn't working....
The team are really helpful and friendly but the equipment is letting them down

Stayed there many times but this time we were put in a different room in another block, the room was tired, stains on paintwork, limescale down the outside of the kettle??? Grouting had not been wiped off the bathroom tiles so had set solid and got grubby and don't even get me started on the toilet ? when I complained I was told they were only allowed to used one type of cleaning product and it wasn't enough man enough for the job. On our second night the key card stopped working and we buzzed reception several times on the intercom but nobody answered despite there being 2 people on reception so had to traipse over to reception to get another card activated. Our next trip we'll be staying in the Travelodge which is such a shame because we used to love it there would post photos if I could
Rooms: Tired and dated

Really dated hotel and no air conditioning, the rooms were so hot. Also the onsite bar doesn't open till 6 and on the first night didn't open at all

Perfect for out theme park trips. This place has become our regular. Lovely staff. Cooked breakfast is standard but by no means amazing. Only downside is the seating and that everything is up stairs so not accessible to all.
Rooms: Large clean and comfy
Nearby activities: Theme parks within 30 min drive
Food and drinks: Needs improving on time frame and sesting for breakfast is upstairs

Lovely place to stay , staff friendly, great location, nice little walk right next to the hotel and takes you into the city centre, the food is lovely although I think they might have been in the middle of a change from the Beefeeter to a new place , but the staff worked so hard and made sure everything was sorted they need a pay rise..
They kept smiling with a few customers being quite rude.
Keep going ?
Thanks for everything
Walkability: Lovely walk by the canal , walk distance to town centre
Food and drinks: Nice food good service

We stayed here a few years ago and that's why we went back,
But it's not great anymore, room was ok , basic,
Service was awful, the breakfast took 50 minutes.we had to cancel the kids as they had waited so long, we were late!!
The second day we went to McDonald's around the corner and pepes chicken place.. no complaints. Don't think we will use this place in the future

If air-conditioning/distance from London and wifi are important to you, it's a no-go.
You pay GBP 5 per night for almost decent wifi. There's a cheap weak fan in the room that doesn't do much; no airconditioning; and a huge variance on capability and friendliness of staff depending on who is on duty.
By international standards, it's a definite 3 star hotel. By UK standards, the rooms are large and clean, and the breakfast is good.

Just arrived. Rooms boiling with no a/c. Window opens onto road so not quiet.
No offer to switch rooms. Poorest service I have ever had for Premier Inn and to cap it all the Beefeater is closed due to lack of staff so it is a 20 minute walk into town.
Rooms: Too hot with no aircon

Good basic hotel. Disappointed that one evening there was no dinner in the restaurant due to lack of a chef!

Stayed on the 07/07/24. No lift in building and room was not on the ground floor. We had young kids and suitcases with us so not a good experience going upstairs to our room.
Room was also smelly. Smell was coming from the bathroom and was spread in the whole room?
Receptionist was not very helpful.
I do NOT recommend this specific premier inn. We have stayed in a quite a few different premier inns all over the uk (10-15 different ones) and this one is by far the worst.

Lovely place

One of the better Premier Inns , good sized room and a nice looking building in a fairly quiet area( not off a main road like usual)
Rooms: Room I had in main block was a good size and different layout to most premier inns.

Just want to praise 'Tara' the lovliest receptionist I've ever met. So helpful and wonderful with my bonkers children. She went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous.
