Usually really enjoy Pizza Express and it?s consistently good but this was an exception. First time visiting this branch. We were seated in the conservatory style extension area at the front of the restaurant instead of the main part inside. Unfortunately it was cold and draughty and all the noise echoed right through it. The pizzas took forever to arrive and the toilets were grotty and in need of refurbishment. The service was acceptable - can?t fault it for anything, but there wasn?t anything special about it either. As the restaurant was quite busy their focus would have been turning the tables and getting the food out so fair enough. We thought we had a few freebies on the app (on my app a free side and my friend?s app free doughballs for signing up), but neither could be used because of the discount on the pizza. This nullified everything else on there. The friend referral thing couldn?t be used either, as it had to be a future visit. Crafty. No doubt it?s all buried in the T&C?s but expections are raised by the app only to be dashed. Despite this the app is generally one of the better ones, but the split payment facility hasn?t been thought through when it comes to 2 for 1 pizzas - one person has to pay full price which defeats the object of the split payment option. So to sum up, rather like Prince Andrew, a return visit isn?t on the cards.

We were a table of 17, a mixture of adults and children.......and all the staff were amazing! There wasn't anything that was too much trouble for them, the staff were amazing! The food was fresh, cooked to perfection. All in all we all had a lovely time for our Christmas get together and will 100% be returning.

Jokes aside about Andy?s dodgy memory, this is a consistently good neighbourhood restaurant. Despite being a chain - several decades old - there?s a warm welcome, freshness to the menu and a good choice of wine. Service is efficient.

I've marked 5 stars, in all zones, because they're usually consistent, albeit they messed up my order the last time I was there. Pepperoni on a Vegan Pizza. Big issue. Better luck next time...
Vegetarian options: No.
Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome; not sure about baby goats. I don't have one.

Going to pizza express is a very unusual thing for me to do. I did however go with my daughter many moons ago.
I recently returned with my Chinese friend Xi. The staff are so very helpful. We asked for a number of brown paper envelopes and the staff said no sweat here you are. Quite a safe place as well as my friend Xi had quite a bit of cash on him?.. God save the king.

Popped in after a swim for a quick dinner with the children. With 2 fussy children there was plenty of choice and we are frequent goers to pizza express but this was our first time in Woking branch and it was lovely. Clean toilets too which is a bonus. We made use of the kids ear for free. What a lovely way of getting families to dine together and enjoy great food. We will be back
