Very rude staff. I was visiting to inquire about tyres. While i was looking for a bay to park, a very impatient and rude member of staff who was about to pull out of the vistors parking bays went mental and startting beeping and shouting at me to clear his way. Never had such a bad experience. just went to another tyre shop nearby

Full service and MOT booked on 6th October for today (10th November 2023). The MOT guy didn't bother to turn up so I have had to book another one somewhere else which I have managed to get (thankfully) tomorrow as my MOT is due today. Also, despite being booked in for the earliest slot at 8:30am, They did not even start to do the service on my car until gone 1pm, and I did not get it back until after 4pm. Overall, a day wasted for only half a job. Very poor, I would recommend you go elsewhere.

The chap took a look at my "slow flat" and suspected that it wasn't punctured, and was in fact an issue with the valve barrel. A few minutes later, and a tweak with a tool and he'd fixed the issue, and at zero cost to me - great job!It would have been the full 5* but I arrived to find that the no-one had any record of the telephone booking I'd made mere hours before - luckily their guy redeemed the situation with his canny hunch :)

New manager at National Tyres, recently taken over by Halfords, has HORRIBLE customer service skills. I took my car in for a service in July '23, booked in at 8am and only got it back at 5.30 due to them being 'busy'. Manager was rude and couldn't be bothered with me at all. Wasted a whole day going backwards and forwards (walked there and back, 30 minutes each way) as they didn't answer the phone half the day to let me know how far they were with the service. Have just tried to book in for an MOT as I really rated them as National Tyres, ended up speaking to the same 'Manager', asked him how long it would take as I can't take all day waiting again for the car. He then got all shirty with me, telling me they're very busy and then started calling me 'darling' in every sentence. I told him to stop immediately and to cancel my appointment, so he hung up on me. Never again

The staff pay little attention to the requirements of what you have booked and paid for. Need some organising. Halfords also need to get their head around the customer service when it cones to this location. MOT failed due to staff confusion and understanding. Not great.

I had an accident nearby and the RAC repaired my tire temporarily but I had to change it as quickly as possible because it was only glued, I went to this service station with a request, and they told me that it must be a letter from the previous day, They worked with an appointment and with me the Case it was that I had to get home somehow, I'm not happy if you have time to wait when it's urgent, They don't work for emergencies

Took my car for 4 wheel alignment as the car was going just slightly to the left and since I got a new set of tyres a day before. After the "work" the shop has done, the car is still going to the left but now the steering wheel 'neutral' position is tilted to the left as well. It is probably the alignment they have in mind selling that service, but it is not an actual wheel alignmentEDIT: I cant rate again with the same account so u have to update, I thought I will give the shop another chance to see if they can do a simple job and took my tyre with a puncture to ask if it is repairable. The person from the shop took a look and I was told that yes it is. When I came the next day to pick it up, I was informed by the same person that it was actually beyond repair. It is fine as it is all about safety. What isn't, is that I could be told this yesterday and have a pair of new tyres booked for today elsewhere (It is at Halfords garage -so they have those tyres!). Instead I was offered to purchase some more expensive tyres! Now I have to wait for a booking slot another 2 days! And if I was told yesterday that they can't repair it, I would have 2 tyres fitted today morning... AVOID GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I had a slow air leak due to a really simple problem which was expertly diagnosed and fixed in 30 seconds by one of the staff. Free of charge! I am so impressed and that is what we continue to visit this place for years for all our tyre needs thanks guys

National Tyres Garage in Woking was the one I have been using for over 10 years for MOT tests and tyre purchases. However, my experience on Thursday, 30th March was shocking to me. Pair of rear tyres and MOT test, seems easy enough, what can go wrong? First, the technician could not take off the wheel locking bolt... managed to do one wheel, but not the other one. Adam, the branch manager did recommend to me an external services who could do it for me at my expense. In fact I have been rushed to do this, so the garage can proceed further. I did not get hold of the recommended guy, but have found another services who came 3 hours after (around 12:30pm) and the wheel was free. The rear tyres have been fitted, however the MOT test could no longer be done on that day. I have been offered to come for a MOT test on Saturday, I was under impression the test can be done on non-working day. Even a female member of staff was surprised on Saturday morning when I arrived for the MOT test for 8:30am. I was supposed to await the call in the morning once I can pick up my car. 11:00am no update, so I phoned. Mario apologised to me, the MOT tester did not come in yet, the MOT will be done shortly. I phoned before 1pm, again, staff member apologised to me... ?there was a problem with a ramp, the car will be ready shortly?, I should await a call. I asked if contacting the manager of area manager could make this happening faster... I need to add, that Mario was the only one person who was apologetic for what was happening. The call from a garage was finally received around 4:30pm to advise me that the car is ready, the MOT test failed. I do understand, the suspension anti-roll bar link ball joints no longer prevent ingress of dirt..., the quality of Surrey' roads explains that clearly, but the dangerous item was the rear brake pads. Apparently, they are incorrect size... how come, since I have got the car these are the same brake pads and previous MOT tests never mentioned that? They are also wearing thin (minor advise) which shows, the pads definitely have been on the rear axle for a few years. But this year, they are incorrect size/incorrectly fitted. The MOT tester said: Last years was a different guy, he is no longer working here. I can see all new staff members at this branch, no one there I could see last years. There are few minor advisory items which I could question, but I can see it is down to the personal judgment. The best thing is: the newly fitted nearside rear tyre is losing pressure 1Bar per day - the car is stationary, not being driven... and I doubt it is down to the rim, as I did not have this problem when previous tyres were fitted. What a waste of two full days and still tyres require attention... Am I going to be back? Only to sort our the rear (new) tyre. How long is that going to take? Another day? The issues indicated in my car's MOT test refusal will be assessed somewhere else. I am concerned these would be taken care properly at this branch.
