I used Halfords many times at their Byfleet centre and they were very good. The service at Woking is even better . From the reception to the speed of operation I cannot fault this centre. The friendly front reception was so accommodating especially as I was nearly an hour early. Well done everyone, well worth the few extra miles for such brilliant service.

Really friendly staff and good prices no pressure had 2 new tyres fitted by Daniel who was really nice and professional and tock he's time to have a chat and explain what was needed. Will return for service and MOT great job ?

I took my car into Halfords for an MOT and was called an hour later to say it didn't pass. I was told the bulbs were on the way out and that the brake efficiency was low to pass.
I asked how much for the light bulbs to be change after umming and arrhhing they told me £15 per bulb.
I said no thank you. I called my husband he took it to another garage and it passed first time. Even showed me everything on the computer. The bulbs were changed but was told incorrect colour by Halfords and my brake efficiency was fine.
I think being a woman they saw me coming
£50 out of pocket and paid twice for an MOT
AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND WILL BE REPORTING TO DVSA.

Amazing service, amazing people. Ali, although being the assistant manager took all the pain to find the defect, explain it to me, fix it and test it before delivery. Ali, even went as far to drop me back home as they had to decide late to keep the car overnight. Alex, the center manager, is a perfect combination with Ali. Between both of them, they made the entire service extremely affordable for me. And Charlie, the young man at the desk, is ever so helpful. All in all, the best garage to rely on honesty, professionalism and customer service. A big SHOUT OUT to my new dear friend ALI ???

To my surprise, the first impression was very positive. The receptionist, Mr. Johnson, was very polite and attentive. He asked me in detail about my concerns about the brakes and carefully explained the inspection process. I also liked that he immediately announced the full cost of the work, including possible unforeseen expenses.

Really unhappy with the service here. They fitted a new battery (which was requested) and then when the car didn?t run properly after, tried to sell us other jobs such as spark plugs etc stating that they were the cause of it not running properly (although it was running fine before the battery). They kept the car the full day and returned it still not running properly saying they couldn?t resolve it if we didn?t buy new spark plugs. The issue was a simple ?reset?-took 10 mins. We have made a formal complaint which has not been resolved, they?re unwilling to engage it communication unless I speak on the phone to them (I?m deaf). Appalling service and do not recommend at all

Well...I had a bad experience with Halfords today. I had booked with 3 days in advance 4 new tires...but...surprise..when I got there I was told that the delivery didn t showed up and they dont have the tires availble and I was asked if I want to rebook. I refused and asked for a refund. Nice of them would have been if they would have contacted me and let me know that the tires havent arrived yet. So....poor costumer service. If you dont want to waste your time opt for another company
