Upon my visit to Woking I popped into Caffe Nero for a Cappuccino.
My first visit to this outlet as I usually use my local outlet in Staines-upon-Thames.
Tha staff were polite and helpful.
I ordered a large cappuccino and a hot chocolate .
The hot chocolate was for my wife who commented that she really enjoyed the flavour.
My cappuccino was really tasty so a very pleasant place to enjoy a quiet drink .

Coffee is decent, and the staff are generally nice. The vibes in the cafe are a bit low though and the upstairs section is even more morbid.

Very slow service. Starbucks, costa, and Nero are all incredibly slow service in Woking. Staff trying to ask every customer about their day, talking about what they're getting for Christmas etc. Waited 10 mins to be served and only had 1 person in front of me. Another 3-4 mins just to make a coffee. It's quicker for me to walk down the road to Gail's, get a coffee there and come back than it is too be served here. Wouldn't recommend if you're in any sort of rush, otherwise enjoy queuing up.

It doesn't feel to good to be here to record a negative experience but I really wish the readers to avoid to have it like the one I just had this morning. I was given two tea spoons because the first one was so dirty, presenting several spots of encrusted dirt, that the waiter felt compelled to give me a second one. Why did he not remove the first one? Perhaps because the second one, the "clean" one, presented a layer of dried soap so thick that using it would have surely added a significant amount of chemicals to whatever I was having. So his idea of good service probably was that of providing the freedom between the two choices.
Eventually, I had to eat the cake with my hands which is when I realized that there was no additional napkins around: not on the table, not on the desk of shared/useless resources. Saving on napkins was a clear indication of how much this company cares about their customers. So I had to make do with my dirty hands - still much cleaner than both tea spoons - and a single tiny napkin. So much so for what should have been a moment of needed relax. Absolutely unworthy.
ADDED NOTE:
After writing I read a few reviews and I realized that I could have saved myself if I had read them earlier since several REAL customers had similar experiences. It was disgusting to notice that the only positive reviews were from "Local Guides" which purpose should be to properly advice the reader rather than advertise the business for personal interest.

20 minutes to get a coffee with only two people in front of me.
Both baristas were ?in training? with the male barista being the better one and the female barista worse than useless.
