“I've been looking for a real cobbler for months. Not these modern chains that are "playing" at being cobblers and doing a really poor job. I'd looked all around where I live in Wales but to no avail. So I thought I'd search around where my Mum lives.I managed to locate The Cobbler in Weybridge on a search. I was rather wary of the 5* reviews (could anyone REALLY be as good as these reviews?) but thought I'd give it a go as I desperately wanted to get the strap stitched back on my handbag.Upon meeting Ali, he was just as described by others, really friendly, kind and helpful. I found out that he trained as a shoemaker from before he was a teenager! So he's a lot more than a cobbler! He did an amazing job on my precious handbag and his prices are very reasonable. I feel that I've made a new friend in Ali as well as a highly talented and professional cobbler/shoemaker.Thank you so much Ali, I wouldn't go anywhere else ?”
