Cosy rooms, above the bar/restaurant so expect some noise. I brought ear plugs which worked a treat. My daughter slept with no problems. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and accommodating.Food & drinks: Cosy restaurant with a fantastic menu.

If you?ve booked for valentines over the weekend I?d cancel immediately.Pub was absolutely dead, no atmosphere, staff quite blunt, food very was average and key main items on the Valentines menu ?sold out?. Questioned the staff as to how items were sold out (due to how quiet is was) and was told that they didn?t have many of the key items on the menu in the first place. We were told by the manager that we would be compensated on the bill (confusing to explain but we upgraded to the more expensive menu to cover the mains we wanted). We weren?t compensated at all. Basically just lied to in order to make sure we still went ahead with our meal at the more expensive cost.Very disappointing, not as advertised and not romantic for valentines. I?m sure it would be fine if you wanted a quick pub meal but nothing more than that. Don?t waste money or time when there are much nicer restaurants in the area.

Looking for accommodation south side of the river for work reasons.Have tried some other hotels previously, but not impressed. Tried Airbnb, not enough privacy.My recent stay was quiet, easy for the commute, good food and looked after well. Realise a pub can get noisy outside, but for me personally, not a bad trade off. This was the winter however!Noteworthy details: Great for a work stop and need to be south of the Thames in the area.

Close to home. Lovely atmosphere. Staff are extremely attentive, friendly and quick to serve drinks. Food is really good especially as it was New Years Eve and mix of live music too.All in all a great night!Open wood fire, not sitting on top of other people well spaced tables.See if you can find Claire as she truely made it a great night for us with no rushing around.Noteworthy details: Very rustic feeling building full of charm

1. This is not in Weybridge. It is in Walton-upon-Thames. Important distinction if coming by train2. Toilet roll poor quality. Soap dispenser not great. Bathroom smelt of damp3. Please note that breakfast is not included, which is surprising given the cost. AND they add VAT to your bill afterwards (so the meals are not priced at what it says on the menu. Add another 20%)

My friend and I always go here for lunch to catchup, the food is always tasty and good value money. Yesterday was our first visit back since the refurbishment and the service was rubbish. We got seated after the guy took about 10 minutes finding our booking, got seated and was waiting about good 20 minutes before we were even asked about our drinks. We only got our drinks order after the table next to us who had arrived after us when the server started to take their order. When we asked him for our drinks he was not very happy that we interrupted him. The servers took ages to take our order. Not sure if they were new staff but the staff could put a smile on their faces.The food was still great but service was bad.I will be back next Sunday with my husband to see if service has improved.

The room I had was next to the night access. As I was travelling for business, being woken up at 3:45 am by what seemed to be drunk guests wasn?t great. I then couldn?t get back to sleep as by 6am all I could hear was cars leaving the site - which I am assuming was contractors going to work. The room was also next to the access road.The room was cold and poorly heated.In general, not a good stay.

Everyone reported their rooms were excellent, the breakfasts superb, and great showers.I in particular want to praise the staff, specifically at check in, breakfast and housekeeping. Just two points of note - my room 101 - suggest maintenance may wish to look at painting wood work in bathroom and bottom of door. Also, you have to step into the shower to close bathroom door?
