My son was hit with a ruler by one of the teachers at this school..I have taken him out of this school...I have been a parent for 20 years and this is by far the worst school

Excellent leadership and as a result my child is thriving here after a school move. Provision for disadvantaged families is particularly strong. No nonsense teachers and leadership team mean that behaviour for learning is very good. Wraparound care excellent. Small group Maths work for targeted students led by deputy head, which my child takes part in and loves. He replies 'Great! ' every single day when asked how his day went. Superb grounds. What a joy to see this local primary school excel. We were offered St Albans and Hurst Park, but chose Chandlers Field - no regrets whatsoever.
