Had a great experience when purchasing glasses and contact lenses. Staff were friendly and didn?t try to upsell me on things that I do not need. Received glasses a lot quicker than I have previously with other opticians. Left on the day of eye test with contact lenses. I will be returning without hesitation.

We have used this center before, and last year it took around 5 days to collect the glasses, which is the normal time everywhere. However, this year, my daughter had eye problems, so we tested her two months earlier, resulting in a change in her eye prescription. We were initially told it would take a maximum of 10 days for the collection, but it has now been 17 days, and the glasses are still not ready. Since the first day of placing the order, my daughter has been counting the days, asking about the glasses from early morning until bedtime. Despite calling them three times, we have been repeatedly told that they will be ready very soon.

I have used this store for over 10 years and have purchased on average 2 pairs of specs every 2 years.I had my eye test recently and needed stronger lenses and duly ordered 2 pairs at a cost of £291.50, I asked for what I had previously ordered in order to use the 2 sets of glasses for reading and working on a screen. When they arrived last weekend I found that I could only read things that were close to me and my lap top screen was blurred.I have been into the store this morning to try and fix the issue and was told that I needed a different type of lens from what they had put into the glasses and it would cost me another £87.50...I asked for them to meet me half way on the cost as it was their mistake in the first place and I was told by the lady that the "director" had instructed her not to offer anything!The frames that I ordered did not fit properly and they had not bothered to measure me for them.I asked for a refund which they have done and have lost a loyal returning customer as a consequence.If I could give 0 Stars I would for their complete lack of customer service and wanting to right an error that they have made...Avoid this business...there are plenty of other opticians out there who will look after you much better than this.Update 22/02-- I duly filled the form out that asked me to do and I have received no response...dreadful customer service but I guess the advert was right... should've gone to Specsavers!

Excellent service from all members of staff at the Walton on Thames branch. May I in particular say a big thank you to Theresa for my amazing new glasses. Such an improvement on my old ones, especially the blue tint on the lenses, which really helps when driving at night! Thank you to everyone.

Was Very happy with my appointment!Upd.All nice impressions were ruined by my trial contact lenses pick up. First I had to call to see what was happening with the delivery of those lenses as I had no email/message with order details. I was told that it is the matter of 10-15 working days. Wow! Then lenses were magically delivered the morning after I called to the store, so I had to wait entire week to have some free time for a pick up.When I came to the store today it took 4 people to give me my lenses, unfortunately none of them were helpful: I had to ask if the lenses differ per eye, then i had to ask to give me a paper with lenses prescription which was a huge trouble for them as they had to PRINT it. Wow 2.0! Just take your new trial lenses, shut up and figure it out yourself at home.Will never use this chain again, amateurs.

If I could leave zero star I would have. My son has a very high prescription and always tend to break it regularly. I bought 2 new pairs with a new prescription, one of them exactly the same as his old one frame (different prescription). All 3 pairs are under insurance. His new frame broke but its glasses didn't so I switched the new prescription glasses with his spare old prescription at a local optician for him to be able to use it until the replacement for both the frame and the glasses arrives. The store director assistant (Teresa) is really rude and always suspicious. She overcharged me, I paid (140 pound !! with the insurance) as she said you gave us an old frame (which Both under insurance) and refused to let me speak to the director. I am reporting them to the general optical council and consumer rights.

Vision Express, Walton-on-Thames ? All members of the team are very experienced and competent.Amit is fantastic. For last four years he has checked my eyes. I have a complex prescription and the measurements are highly accurate. He is very professional and always answers questions and explains the prescription.As always the floor-staff is very pleasant and helpful when choosing frames.Since the store opened I have been coming to them. I would never go somewhere else.

I wouldn?t give this store even 1 star. 2 pairs of varifocals over a 4 year period and neither have been fit for purpose. Should have learnt from the first lousy pair they produced but gave them a second chance as i get my contact lenses from this branch too. The opticians are v skilled but the counter staff who do the measurements and fitting for glasses are awful. The blonde, English lady with glasses, was outright rude when I complained and hostile in dealing with me from the off. They don?t know how to measure for varifocals, their glasses are expensive and their customer service is appalling. £490 down the drain because of incompetence and a lack of training for staff. Go to specSavers down the road. Much better.

The service I have received from the staff has always been exceptional. Professional yet friendly. The quality of the frames are hands down better than Specsavers! Their monthly payment plan is so helpful in these current times too.

Been dealing with vision express in Kingston and had decided to buy glasses with them. Need to get my PD measurement so thought I would ask the Walton branch. Was answered with yes, for £50. Seriously? £50 to measure my pupillary distance? I?ll be buying my glasses elsewhere
