Do not stay here. Rooms are smelly, hot, and dirty. We booked rooms through the Travelodge website and were seeking to stay in the other Walton-on-Thames location, which is everything this place is not. However, due to confusingly similar names, after we arrived to check in at the other location, they told us we were actually booked here. The rooms stank of cigarette smoke and were over 26 degrees C inside, with windows that barely opened and no air con. On the plus side, it's easy to get to the train station and there's free parking.

I got the best service from Kelly at Travelodge! She was honestly so thoughtful- lent me her own umbrella on a rainy day so I could go to my interview, and even wished me good luck. After we?d already checked out, she still helped us store our luggage. It really made me feel at home. Service like this is rare! A huge thanks to Kelly! ??

The best thing about this place is the location. It?s within walking distance to the train station AND it?s affordable. I can?t remember what we paid, but it was way less than most other places we checked. The front desk was very helpful in giving us directions to places we wanted to see. No complaints. Good value for the money!

All staff are always there when neaded. Manager and all staff are very polite and ask if im okay daily. Would pay extra to stay here rather than anywere else just because of staff and the rooms are freshly refurbished. Pets are also welcomed.

Lovely clean and tidy hotel, which is nicely situated. The only downside is the fact that the restaurant doesn't serve cooked breakfast.

Kept up till half four with noisy guest. Police called and arrested that guest. People walking through reception with a dog. Unruly guest inviting people to room. More experienced receptionist should be on duty during night shift.

Clean basic accommodation. Free parking. Right opposite the rail station, so it's very easy to get into central London.

A functional low cost hotel that is very quiet and very close to a station with frequent fast trains in to Waterloo. Great value as two can travel in to London cheaply and return to the hotel in the early hours. This was perfect for our Son?s special birthday and parking was easy and free at the hotel. Staff were helpful too

Just returned from a one night stay 23rd November 2024.
Newly decorated and spruced up.
Right opposite the train station with free parking.
Would definitely return and visit again.

After reading the reviews was really dubious about staying here, but only paying £31 for a night we checked in quite late after spending rhe day in London.
On arrival we could smell fresh paint and the reception area was smart and clean.
Very friendly chap at check in.
We went up to our room (218) and was pleasantly surprised. New TV, freshly decorated. Smart clean and presentable.
Our room was at the front and for a Sunday night was quiet and we slept soundly with the window open.
Would definitely stay here again.

Dogs barking in rooms, strange odours in corridors (not drugs). Rooms not that nice, unclean bathrooms, could do with a total revamp. Approached by strangers in the bar selling items of a combustible nature. Would not stay here again.

Me and my partner made a 4 hour journey from up north to come and stay here as my partner's mother is going to pass away sge doesn't have long to the point of we turned up and never received a confirmation email the woman on reception was rude and discriminating and did not want to help us in any way we were vulnerable and had no where else to stay from the outside we could see the rooms and the curtains were stained and dirty also the window frames this is not somewhere anyone would want to stay the staff are so rude and unprofessional avoid at all costs!!!!

Loud music from pub next door kept us awake banging of doors people running banging room above. Pillows hard horrible expensive
