“I'm always warmly welcomed when I walk into the shop and personally I think the owner has got a great attitude towards his customers. To those people leaving a bad review on here regarding the post office staff ,there is something you should know . There is only one member of staff working on that counter . They do not have a lunch break, tea break or toilet break ,so when they are needing a break for whatever reason they try to go when there's no one in the queue. If there's a sign saying back in 5 mins don't chastise them for being a little longer . Sometimes there are jobs that they need to do that are important for things to run smoothly, sacks of post need to be ready for collection before the post van arrives.This involves the ONE member of staff having to leave the counter to sort that out .Don't expect the post office to be open when the shop opens and when it closes. The hours of business for the post office are different from the shop . Hours of business for the post office are displayed on the post office counter . Post offices are not open on a Sunday or a bank holiday . The post office staff are there to help you with your requirements but there are some things that they cannot do like filling in forms that need specific training and they will tell you this , so in these instances please don't get frustrated and take it out on them, just take their advice and go to a main post office where you'll get the help you need, Also don't complain or ring the bell just because there's no one serving . Be nice . They are doing their best .”
