My wife and I had our appointments today 28/02/24. Practically no waiting time, very quick and thorough professional service. Staff very helpful and just an all round effortless time on our behalf and reasonable price. Thanks to everyone.

Had my eye test at the Ashford, Surrey store and went back a couple of weeks later to order my frames I was was served by a very helpful and knowledgeable lady named Tess, great service i was really impressed by the service. Well done Tess you are a credit to the store.

We went to the Stains stor with my four-year-old daughter, we had a private prescription, however we couldn?t afford the glasses so we went to have an NHS test for my daughter. They have refused stating that because she had private prescription, she?s not a title for the NHS one ,its total rubbish it?s shame on them to refuse a four year old eye test. I will never use them again. My husband and loads of my family members used them and I will make sure that they know how disgraceful vision express never use them again and I will make sure that my family members will never go to vision express ever again.

Staff needs to be re-trained on how to deal with customers with ?manners? especially the short haired receptionist.Tuesday I came to pick up my contact lenses and this receptionist was chit-chatting with her colleague. They gave me the contact lenses, I said thank you but no response as they were still chit chatting. Don?t get me wrong, I?m not saying they can?t chit chat, I?m just expecting them to at least prioritise the customer. But I ignored it since I got what?s important: my contact lenses.Wednesday morning, I tried it on and it turns out they gave the wrong contact lenses. It was multifocal with a range of 1.25 - 2.50. Contact Lenses kept coming off and it honestly gave me a headache . My prescription is not multifocal with a grade pf 2.75So I decided to sort this that day because my flight is tomorrow. I came in to the store showed them what they have given me. And I saw the packaging with my name in BIG BOLD LETTERS. I don?t know how you can miss that but hey, it happens.They gave me the packaging, and all I was expecting was a simple apology. But nothing, all I got was ?here you go? as if she didn?t waste my time, gave me a headache and made me late to my job for half an hour. (Note that, my job starts at 9:30 and they open at 9 am)The receptionist didn?t even have the basic decency to take ownership of the inconvenience she has caused.It?s just disappointing when you give people a chance. My mother came here to get glasses at an overpriced rate (more expensive than branded glasses from Specsavers) but she had to return it because it was that bad. I thought this was just an anomaly because people make mistakes but now I can see why she wouldn?t recommend it.On the lighter side of things, the optician was really kind and nice. She was really focused on doing her job. And for some reason, she was incredibly calming - I think it?s the tone of her voice. She?s the reason why this is a 1 star review instead of 0 stars.It?s just a shame that she has colleagues like that. (And it?s plural because the lady that the receptionist was chit chatting with didn?t even correct her, she just stood there and watched)As someone who has worked in customer service, having manners and decency to own up to their mistakes would make the service a lot efficient.

The ophthalmologist was great, best experience so far. Friendly staff, the only inconvenience was not being told the price of the prescription till the very end of the process.
