As always the worst I?ve ever experienced!
Never in my life that I went to a bank and they made me weight for an hour cause the staff is in a lunch break! Very unprofessional very understaffed I will definitely close my bank account and I won?t recommend it to anyone

I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to share this. I regularly visit a different Metro Bank branch where all my queries are solved, however I decided to try Staines branch as I was in the area to close an account. Upon walking up to the worker, he seemed instantly disinterested as I must have interrupted his conversation with his friends. So much for customer service. The whole interaction felt as if he wanted to get it over and done with quickly. And right at the end, he didn?t even attempt to close my account and directed me to a phone number, saying I should call them instead. The whole transaction lasted likely 30 seconds. When I tried the phone number later on, nobody reached the line and I was left utterly confused. Clearly this worker needs more training - he was a young man with black curly hair. I feel dissatisfied from my experience and will consequently visit my regular branch.

Don?t bother. It?s cheaper to go to a more established bank and the customer service is terrible. My account was closed for no reason and it took months to get the money out from the business. I wish I never set up with them in the first place.

Fantastic Staff and team. I feel like a vip when I come to This store they are very helpful and accommodating always go above and beyond. They helped me open all my children accounts and also help when I lock myself out of online banking. My favourite store by far. Charlotte

Avoid at all costs.
We wanted to open a current account. We spoke to a girl with long fake eyelashes at 12.00 who checked our documents and booked us an appointment for 14.30 (2 hours later)
We arrived at 14.30 and waited until 14.50 to be asked to sit down at a seat.
We waited another 10 minutes until the staff member on the desk behind called me on my mobile.
I turned around and asked if it was her calling me and she said yes.
We moved across to her desk and she asked for our documents. Then she said they needed a visa status reference number.
We tried to find this in our emails, but while doing this she said we would have to come back as she had other clients to see. We were literally at the desk for 3 minutes. Bearing in mind the people she had seen before us had said they had been there for 1 hour and hadn't got what they came for.
I understand they have other customers to see, but I expected a little more patience since we had been trying to see someone since 12.00 and it was by that time 15.00.
A. The person on the counter should have told us we needed a visa reference number - we could have got this while waiting 2 hours
B. They should have given us more than 30 seconds to find the website for the visa status.
We won't be back and will instead bank elsewhere -

I used Metro Bank only for there Magic Money Machine ? now there is no more Coin Machine in any Metro Bank. Its time to switch away from them...

I always have highly disappointing experience at Metro bank Staines.Every time I visit, I find myself waiting endlessly without being acknowledged. The staff seems completely indifferent to the presence of customers and lacks basic courtesy. It's clear they haven't been properly trained, as I always have to seek out assistance myself. This level of service is unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on the bank's overall commitment to customer care. I strongly urge them to invest in better training for their employees and improve their customer service standards.

DO NOT USE THIS BANK..the staff seem clueless, lazy and half asleep. Could not simply print a statment out and was told it would be emailed to me but this never happened. I have a business account with them but will be looking else where to bank.
