I purchased a DX13M antenna from this seller on June 5th. The item was £199.96, for a total of £268.90 including VAT and prepaid shipping to France.
I received the invoice after paying via PayPal.
This item was pre-ordered because it was not in stock.
However, about an hour after ordering, I received a call from ML&S, which I couldn't answer. They informed me that the manufacturer's price had increased by more than £60.
They apologized for the error and asked if I wanted to pay the additional fee or cancel the order.
Despite several emails with ML&S, informing them of the regulations, the law, and in particular their own general terms and conditions of sale, I was unsuccessful, and my order was simply canceled!
I'm wondering if all this is legal, and I'm considering seeking Citizens Advice on the matter.
Aware of the seller's reaction, who apologized but didn't comply with the law, I told ML&S the price of their competitor, Wimo, to see if they could offer a competitive price on the antenna model I wanted and had purchased before they unilaterally canceled the order.
ML&S's purchasing department was unable to offer me anything other than a price equivalent to Wimo's.
Suffice to say, after such a disappointment, I bought the higher-end model from their competitor!!!
Despite the fact that I've ordered from them in the past, I really don't recommend them. ML&S really disappointed me with this order. The price display error was their fault, clearly not abusive. Given that we had a contract with an honored invoice, they should have covered the price difference following their service provider's increase.
In short, be careful, their business practices are truly borderline. And I reserve the right to take possible legal action regarding my invoice.
My rating may change one day if I order from them again.

Always quality from ML&S, I have spent a fortune but I trust these guys with after sales service so it?s my go to shop , it?s the 7610 I?m after when it drops a little , cheers guys , especially Tony . My last buy was the 710.

I've purchased a few things from MLandS, I think 90% would have been used or B-stock equipment. I've had nothing but good experiences from the team, and Gary in particular has been over and above when I asked a question about an item.
The quality of the used items is always accurate to the description on the website, and everything has been extremely carefully packaged.

In my 50 years of experience dealing with various companies, I?ve never encountered a dealer like M&S. Henry will truly do anything to make sure the customer is happy.
Another standout feature is their stock availability. While many other dealers leave you waiting, M&S usually has what you need in stock and ready to go. And if they don?t, they?ll order it quickly and keep you informed throughout the process.
Their YouTube reviews are also excellent?professional, detailed, and genuinely helpful. I?ve looked into dealers in the US as well, and the difference is night and day. Some US dealers have kept me waiting weeks just for an email response?if they responded at all!
Lastly, I want to mention Paul, who handles the packing. He always does an outstanding job, making sure everything is securely and carefully packed for shipping.
All in all, no other dealer compares to M&S in my experience. I highly recommend them.
