Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service
I have been using this salon for years and have visited at least once a month, so I was extremely disappointed by my recent experience.
I initially had my lip and chin waxed and was then asked to return in 40 minutes for my nail appointment. I booked the nail appointment in advance, yet when I returned, no one acknowledged me or explained how long I would have to wait. I was left waiting despite having been told to come back at a specific time.
When my nails were finally being done, I showed the technician a photo of the colour I wanted, only to be told that they did not have that colour. Instead of offering helpful alternatives, she rudely told me to make up my mind because I was confused and there were other customers waiting. I found her attitude extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.
I explained that I had already been in the salon since 1pm, had followed their instructions to return later, and had still been left waiting without anyone acknowledging me. I also pointed out that all customers deserve to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect, especially loyal customers who have supported the business for years.
Unfortunately, the experience became even worse after I paid my bill and left. A few minutes later I felt someone tapped me on the shoulder and asked whether I had paid for my lip and chin wax, which had been done over an hour earlier, and then demanded to see my receipt. This was extremely embarrassing and made me feel as though I was being treated like I had deliberately tried to leave without paying. If there had been any uncertainty about the payment, it should have been checked before allowing me to leave or handled in a much more professional manner.
I spent around three hours of my day at the salon, as well as paying for parking, and left extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the final result of my nails.
I have always supported this salon, but after this experience, I will never use their services again. The lack of customer service, the rude attitude, the unnecessary waiting, and the way I was treated at the end were completely unacceptable.
Very poor service and extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this salon.

I haven't used this hair salon before. Samina cut my hair in a layered style that she suggested would look good and she was right. I love the new layers. She washed, cut blow dried and styled my hair. She was amazing. Talked to me all the time and was so good at what she does. Come back a few days later to have it styled for a day out! Highly recommend.

Had an amazing experience at Living it up nails at staines . My therapist was BALJINDER...?????? shes highly recommended 100%... what an amazing energy this girl has. So good with everything she does, from eyebrows to waxing , pedicure and manicure with gel color. In ages i have not had such a good and relaxing pedicure. She has magic hands i can surely say that. I am truly and honestly so satisfied with my services with her . Clean and friendly environment.... always have had a pleasant visit at this salon. Thumbs up for such great service... ??

They don't have proper hair stylist but they claimed and ruined my hair. Honestly don't even bother to visit them. So unprofessional and incompetent.
