I came in today to get a Wii to HDMI converter and was first told it was missing from the inventory. One of the workers then found it in the shop ,but they decided to not sell it because one of the other workers wanted it. I went on the website again after and the workers had removed the item for sale. Extremely annoying to list an item on your website and to then not sell it to a customer because one of your workers wants it, wasting my time.

I purchased my Samsung S24 Plus from the Staines store a month ago and had an issue with it. I went back, and the team was amazing! They tried to fix it first (I didn?t want an exchange right away), but eventually swapped it for the same model in a different color.
Even though it took some time to resolve, the team was super helpful and friendly. I walked in anxious but left happy, especially with a small goodwill discount. Their great service also made me feel relaxed enough to buy a smartwatch I?d been eyeing for a while!
I?m really happy with the new phone and smartwatch ? it was a great deal! I?ll definitely be returning to this store for future purchases. Huge thanks to the team for their excellent service and teamwork!

Sent me a 4K Blu-ray but instead of the 4K disc it was a standard dvd! Now I?ve got the stress and hasle of sending it back and waiting for replacement. Not happy with cex this is a shambles!

I traded in a game at this exact date and time 05/07/2025, 12.17 time. Store is Staines. The game was LOL surprise remix we rule the world for Nintendo switch. The cashier issued no voucher or money for my item. He said the voucher will be sent by email I believe. My daughter was going to use the voucher for something else so is upset please sort the issue as soon as possible thank you. I have attached a receipt of my time and date of transaction no receipt was given back for the game LOL. Order number SA926174. Customer id 623144451291753831

Update: ?From 5 star to 1 star review? Awful costumer service. I was given the wrong CD for a purchase I made and noticed this as I was exiting the store. I approached the counter seconds after realizing and the cashier told me that the CD was listed under the wrong tag hence why I was given the wrong CD. So I asked for the right disc and that?s when they told me that I would have to pay more to purchase this game as the price listed was wrong. I was so baffled by this response from the manager and asked if they can honour the price listed however they refused. The difference was £4.00 in total. And as a costumer shopping her for over 5+ years they refused to amend this situation. I walked out of this location and would not be returning. The manager was extremely unprofessional and rude. This was after the transaction was made. This business decided to give me something that I did not intend on purchasing and when I realized that they had given me the wrong CD they decided it was a good idea to charge me on top of what I paid so I can get the right CD for the case I picked up. This is wrong in so many instances, once I made the purchase I intended on receiving the CD belonged with the case I picked up and not something else, I should not be the one to pay for the mistake the business has made. The employee did not even bother to review and see whether or not the CD was for this specific case I picked up. This is as simple as reading what the title on the case is and matching it with the title printed on the CD. I will be contacting corporate about this matter to discuss my disgust with the staff and unprofessionalism displayed. Will take my business to elsewhere. 0/5 stars. Manager was willing to lose a loyal costumer over £4 pounds after a mistake made by staff who priced the merchandise, by the cashier who gave me the wrong CD/ concluded the sale and the manager who tried to then make me pay more for the right CD AFTER the transaction was completed and the purchase was made. They do not care about any of their costumers. I was nothing but friendly and I was treated horribly in front of other costumers Avoid this mess of a location. Incident took place 25/03/2025.

Came in very recently to purchase a game. Staff are very friendly and provide great service. My only complaint is the wait times, both for making a purchase and selling an item. I was told it would take 4 hours to test an Xbox Series S. A similar business tested it in 30 minutes. Besides that, great store. Fuggle tried, Fuggle approved

I went into CEX this morning in Staines as I had lost my videos on my Instagram Every time I go into the shop I receive outstanding Customer Service today it was from Marie Who intentively listened To my concerns and dealt with the issue straight away she also put in a new Sim card for me and configured, it all to my phone . every time I go into CEX in staines I always receive outstanding helpl Georgia And Marie have both gone above and beyond to
resolve The issues I had with my phone. Even if this wasn?t a secondhand shop and I would still go in there every time I would choose the shop because there is no other shopping staines That is as helpful as the staff that work in CEX
