Afternoon tea was underwhelming. Searched long and hard for a unique afternoon tea. Despite the website menu looking exciting the actual sandwiches and prawn cocktail voluvant were uninspiring. The tea was also way too strong and no hot water to dilute provided. I'm not sure the footfall at this location allows for superfresh goodies, we were the only ones dining. The staff were lovely on greeting and seating however did not check in on us atall once the tea was delivered
Edit: Nutfield Priory have responded to my review and assured me they would be talking to the kitchen team to address the issues I raised regarding the afternoon tea selection served. I am happy to hear this as the location is truly stunning and staff very friendly.

I came to stay at your hotel over the weekend which lovely, food was outstanding and staff were very friendly
I had spa treatments one of which was an express pedi which I had to have my nails repainted as the polish seemed to curdle and upon the second reapplication it was now worse and not well applied.
I did keep my slip slops on for more than an hour for them to dry and no top coat was applied second time

This place is great and deserves its fantastic ratings. The only issues I have are things I wouldn't expect in a 5* hotel, little things like... You book as a couple and they only have one robe in the room and then having the expectation that guests to take the robes from the room for the spa.
That said, if it was in the power of the staff to fix they fixed it, with a smile and good cheer.
We had a lovely stay. I can't believe this place is so close to London. It's a perfect spa get away location.

We stayed for three nights between Christmas and New Year in a superior double room. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed. I had an issue with the evening servicing of the room which was only carried out once during my stay. The breakfast was disappointing. The cold selection was limited and very portion controlled. Service was slow and the hot food wasn't very good. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and again the food was poor and our order was muddled up resulting in meals arriving at different times. The staff were friendly and tried hard to give good service but they were let down by the chefs. It was expensive and I didn't feel that it was value for money. However I would stay again and it is in a beautiful location and well maintained hotel.

Came today for a large family Boxing Day lunch. The food was really lovely, the setting was beautiful and above all the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. I would definitely go again for a special occasion and would highly recommend.

Really disappointing. Booked a spa day for my wife?s birthday and have just received a call explaining timings and the scheduling of treatments and food are all at the convenience of the venue and not us as guests. Afternoon tea at 12? clues in the name, treatments at 13:45. Real shame, hope my refund is processed quickly as now looking for an alternative with 1 week to go? quick edit, refund 7-10 working days..clowns

I regularly stay here for work and it's always a pleasure. The team go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious.
The touch I appreciated today was the lovely lady on the front desk taking note of how cold I get (I'd asked for extra blankets) and suggesting to add to my preferences for winter to put me in a warmer room if possible. I didn't even know that was possible but it's such a lovely touch!

Rooms: Always clean with toiletries provided, tea and coffee facilities and lovely spacious bathrooms.
Safety: I've never had a worry about saftey as a woman staying on my own!
Food and drinks: Breakfast is exceptional, handpicked hotels really do this well and it's the one thing I always rave about yo family and friends. It's a true highlight of my stay, especially being gluten free. I'm completely catered for and never have to worry.
Dinner is divine too, the gluten free sticky toffee has my heart!

5 star service in such a beautiful setting! Their attention to detail is second to none from personalised cards to the happy birthday teddy bear. The spa was relaxing, clean, fantastic staff, sad I didn?t remember names to put special mentions in. A memorable stay, hopefully the first of many more. Highly recommend :)

Attended a wedding on Saturday night, I can criticise the best of places but our time here was absolutely faultless. Everything was so organised, the staff constantly going above and beyond and everyone was so friendly and helpful, we loved the room we stayed in and the wedding went off without a hitch! The food was amazing and this place combined with the staff and facilities made available to us really does make you feel special. At the front of house we had Graham who was immediately warm and welcoming on arrival and I had a lovely chat with him, he is very proud of the place he works and did a brilliant job. Elise and Anke (hope I?ve got that right) we?re two lovely ladies on the front desk Sunday morning they were so kind and friendly and there was another lady who unfortunately I didn?t catch the name of but she personally took me to show me where our room was on Saturday afternoon. Alex was one of our waiters who worked tirelessly, he was super kind and friendly and put up with some of our drunken shenanigans. And Peter who was there for everyone organising and coordinating flawlessly. Of course everyone was brilliant but these members of the staff really made the night, one that will not soon be forgotten. Thank you so much.

We want to say a huge ?Thank You? for making our daughter?s wedding day so very special.
From the minute I arrived on the Saturday morning to get ready with the bride and her girls we were treated like royalty and all staff were so helpful.
Anke was brilliant for answering all my questions.
The drinks reception with canapés was well organised and Peter was amazing at making sure everything went smoothly.
The food was amazing for the wedding meal and we were constantly looked after by our table waitress Sian.
Alex was a family favourite with his friendly manner.
The evening was brilliant with the build your own burger meal.
Elise was very friendly and Dragos made for a great barman dealing with lots of thirsty friends and family with all the dancing.
Everyone commented on how well it all went.
We then had a big breakfast with everyone the next day, which was delicious, and couldn?t believe Peter was back again! He and his team had packed everything into a corner so it was easy to load the car when it was time to leave and the lovely Graham was very helpful when we needed an extra pair of hands.
Those that had stayed in the hotel then had a well needed chill out session in the spa which was fantastic! Great facilities and so clean.
What an amazing team working in a stunning venue making us the most memorable day.
