Popped to The Bear Oxshott for a very impromptu Sunday Lunch last week ! Wow !
I am extremely fussy & have only found 2 places for a sublime roast, this is now in my top 3. Chris the Manager is super lovely & attentive. He overheard me trying to persuade hubby to order a roast so we can share a cauli cheese haha but hubby ordered the mussels - which he loved....however, as my plate arrived a little side portion of cauli cheese was added - thank you Chris ! We will 100% be returning !
O by the way the apple & peach crumble finished the meal perfectly !!
The food was delicious but I'll let my photo show the proof :)

Been a local for a longtime and this is the best pub in oxshott for both food and drinks. Great staff, sahin is a legend of the game. Runs the bar like a lawyer, Harvey spectre would hire him.

10/10 service every time we visit. Great food, a really welcoming atmosphere, and the team always make you feel looked after.

I took the kids to the bear on the weekend for lunch. We were greeted upon entry by Chris who served us for the duration. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The food came quickly and was nicely presented. Chris bought the kids some colouring before their food arrived to keep them entertained. Enjoyable, we will be back.

We were a party of 10 and were given a large table in a separate area so we could chat and not disturb other diners.

Regularly eat here , fantastic roasts , esp the Pork belly . It?s a pub with a really friendly atmosphere , the team clearly all get along which adds to the atmosphere and the attention to customers . Real log fire for winter evenings too. Genuinely good people , thoroughly recommend .
