Had an excellent meal. As good as, if not better than any Indian / Nepalese / Bangladeshi restaurant we've visited.
Staff were very welcoming. Milan, our waiter was a top bloke - happily explained all the dishes to us & appeared very proud of the restaurants' food.
Although it was about a 35 mile drive for us, we'll definitely return as often as possible.

We had a takeaway for dinner. Noticed portions have got smaller. We ordered the lamb chops as a starter, you usually get 2, the size was more like 1. Very small and not worth the money. I accidentally double ordered on a dish. When I called I could not get a reimbursement I had to choose something else, which I really did not want. Very disappointed in this restaurant.

Booked a table for 5 persons on arrival told we had not booked by a very abrupt young man, then told by a lady he was looking at wrong day! He then ignored my father and I as we spoke to him, he walked over to a table and pointed. As we had eaten here before we had bought our own wine. When we asked if he could keep it cold for us he rudely said the fridge was fall and walked away. No manners whatsoever. At this point we walked out and will Never return.

The best curry in Surrey! Been going to The Rose for years and it?s absolutely excellent. Lovely people, great food and also brilliant via delivery. Would recommend the Murgh Makhani and the Sag Aloo - both fantastic.

I haven been back in a while. Went the other day, service and food is not what it was. Taste and quality and service has just gone. It?s now being your own alcohol which is nice but prices of soft drinks and food is very expensive for the small portion size you get.

After a long day visiting Hampton Court if you are looking for a quiet spot in the quaint village atmosphere of Thames Ditton 15
minutes walk from Hampton court this is the spot. Incredibly tasty, spiced just right. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sag Paneer, Tandoori mixed grill with lamb naan. King Henry would approve !

We've been going to The Rose on and off for the last 20 years or so and our latest visit was the most disappointing in all of that time. It wasn't terrible as such in that some of the food was ok but some was not, the chana and achar chicken too salty and too sweet, and my wife's main dish of vegetable jalfrezi consisted pretty much only of cabbage and onions. It was the same with the service in that the staff didn't seem to have any interest at all, apart from one young lady who was very friendly. It's been OK in the past so hopefully we just caught them on a bad night.

First time we have eaten in rather than ordered takeaway. Food seemed to taste even better! BYO which is great. We'll be trying to eat in more often. Highly recommended.

This is mediocre food at best. Absolutely awful, waste of money. We had three dishes and some poppadoms. The two vegetable dishes were made with blackened potatoes, which look like they were salvaged from some other dish. The Gobi Aloo was smelling rancid and the potatoes also were blackened. Achari chicken consisted of Mango chutney mixed with chicken, not Achar which is pickle. The poppadoms were broken in shards, some of which were ok, seemingly fresh and some incredibly stale. It was obvious that they had just provided us with left over pieces. We politely called to explain our grievances, but received appalling service; they simply were not interested in anything we had to say.
