Had a great meal at the tarana celebrating my mums birthday abba tribute was the best I have ever seen! Food was great service out of this world recommend! The owner Johan is so friendly and hospitable giving us ice cream for my son and a round of drinks for my mums birthday will come again soon

Very disappointing experience.
The food was awful and far from authentic Indian cuisine. There were hardly any vegetarian main course options.
The Tarana Chicken was passable but nothing special. Paneer Tikka was bland with barely any spices, and the Matar Paneer was overly sweet and poorly made.
Service was equally poor?we had to repeatedly ask for cutlery, and the plates were never changed between courses.
Definitely not worth the hype.

We've been eating at Tarana for a few years now, mostly takeaway but eating in occasionally. We've always had excellent food, and the staff are absolutely fantastic - one of the nicest dining experiences I've ever had. I can 100% recommend eating here, you will not be disappointed!

I visited Tarana recently. The food was okay, nothing remarkable, but unfortunately, the experience turned sour for other reasons. I accidentally left behind my Valentino bag at the restaurant. When I called to check, I was told it had been found and was safely with them. I explained I don?t live locally but would collect it the next time I was in the area. They assured me that was fine.
However, when I returned this week to collect it, there was no sign of my bag. No explanation, no accountability, and despite being told the manager would call me, I have heard nothing back. It?s clear that my bag has either been lost or stolen while in their care.
This is completely unacceptable, and I?m deeply disappointed by the lack of responsibility and communication. I expected better from a business that deals with the public daily. I would caution others to be very careful with their belongings when visiting.

Very disappointed. I left my Valentino bag at Tarana and called soon after?they confirmed they had it. I explained I live far away and would collect it when next passing, and they said that was fine. When I returned, the bag was gone, no explanation, no call from the manager as promised. It?s been mishandled or stolen, and no one has taken responsibility. Really poor experience.

Went to the Bob Marley night who sang 5 Bob Marley songs and the rest felt like Karaoke! Music was so loud we could not hear eachother speak. When I booked I was asked for £15 per head and I asked if it was a deposit and was told it was. So shocked when I was told it was for a ticket to see a DJ ?

First time visiting and I'll definitely be back again. There's a great choice of food on the menu. All the food served was excellent and the service first class. I really enjoyed my salmon curry.

The staff and the food were both excellent
They Kindly gave me a coffee to drink on the way home as I had a long journey.

Order a take away 2 hours in advance. It arrived 25 minutes late and was stone cold and a dish missing. We were moving house and so had no means of heating it up. Called the restaurant and they said to complain to Uber eats, Uber eats have given us a £7.50 credit ..... Not good enough.

We got a delivery through JustEat that arrived 25 minutes late and all food was cold on arrival and a dish was missing. Will be requesting a refund. Very unhappy
