I went to the shell garage lingfield with my dad today on my way to bloomin arts lingfield because he needed to get some more petrol for my sister mollie's car as it was running out of petrol and needed some more
Once it had enough petrol in the car then my dad drove me to bloomin arts lingfield for the disney fun club
It's very handy to have a shell garage lingfield just in case the car runs out of petrol and we need to get some more that what is good thing about having a shell garage nearby or few minutes drive from you there's so many shell garages around in different locations which is good news
The staff that work there are very kind lovely friendly
I had a very lovely first experience there today at the shell garage lingfield
This place gets it's very first 5 out of 5 star rating by me

Horrible Experience at Shell - 06/01/2024, 4:30 PM**
I visited this Shell petrol station while traveling from out of the area, (as I usually visit a Shell where ever I am as the service is always great). However, my experience on this occasion was nothing short of appalling.
The gentleman working behind the till, who had a bushy beard, was incredibly rude and sarcastic towards me throughout the interaction. His behavior stood out as particularly unpleasant compared to how he treated other customers in the store, as noted by another customer present at the time.
I left the store feeling deeply upset and disheartened by this experience. I couldn?t help but wonder if his behavior was influenced by my identity, which made the situation even more distressing.
As a loyal Shell customer, I am extremely disappointed that this level of unprofessional and potentially discriminatory service is allowed to take place. I sincerely hope that Shell takes action to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of who they are. I certainly will not be using shell again.

Since Shell took this petrol station over, it has been consistently overpriced compared to other petrol stations further away. As the only petrol station in Lingfield they can maintain a high price to profiteer from the through traffic for Lingfield Racecourse, Lingfield Notre Dame School and the Dormans Park estate. In other words, it caters for people who don't live in Lingfield and don't care whether they are being overcharged by as much as 5p per litre as opposed to the people who actually live in Lingfield and have to drive to Felbridge or East Grinstead to get petrol at a competitive price. Today 16th April 2024 145.9 in EG, 157.9 at yours. That's 12p per litre, £6 for a tank you are a disgrace.

It has convenient parking. There is a toilet if you are driving long distance! The shop has a good range of things to buy. The fuel is a bit more expensive than other towns with multiple petrol stations as Shell has a monopoly here. Monopolies always lead to higher prices so I do not blame Shell for this. It is always busy due to its location so you pay for convenience. I have no complaints about it and it fulfills a very useful role in Lingfield.

Nice and easy to pop in, full up grab a Costa and a sausage roll and get on the road. Avoid around 8ish AM very busy then.

Whenever I drive past the price is always ridiculous. Despite most petrol stations charging 1.64 a litre shell in Lingfield is still charging 1.71 a litre. Avoid at all costs and go to East Grinstead instead. The prices are much better. The 1 star is only for location as its very close to the centre of Lingfield.

AVOID AT ALL COST!! Fuel here is almost as dear as Clacket Lane, they're just taking the proverbial, absolutely NO need to be so greedy!!

I went in today on my way home from work, three customers came and went whilst I was there. None wearing masks. The shop staff said and did nothing. If you don't want Covid I would avoid.

I have been In 3 times and on each occasion I have been served by 2 ladies (sorry I didnt catch your names) I have just started a new job and enroute i stopped off and they put me at such ease and i left laughing. It's great to have customer service that felt real and not put on. Thanks girls!! ?

Nice little local stationThe quality of fuel is really good, have used them for a couple of years and it?s always been really good for quality.The main shop isn?t amazing but just has the essentials.

Takes bloody ages to get fuel as everyone is getting a coffee. Only use if you have loads of free time or running on empty.
