Haven?t use these guys for a while after a bad batch last time but nothing has really changed. The battered sausage was disgusting worse ones in the area , the chips are tasteless .
Waiting to be served by the old guys in there took forever . It was like being served by dad?s army .
This place was the best around at one point I don?t know what?s happened .
But people will vote with their feet unless it changes.

Staying in Lingfield for the week and found staff lovely and friendly. I only had to wait about 5 minutes and the fish and chips and burgers were great.

Had a takeaway from here last week and expected great things because there?s always a queue. Possibly the worst fish & chip taken out I?ve ever had. The ?cod ? was small, dry, tasteless little chunks rather than a fillet and tasted like it had been frozen for years. Revolving. The ? batter? was like frozen fish breadcrumbs but had been deep fried to burnt. It didn?t stick to the fish & just slid off in a nasty strip. The chips were average at best but no crispy bits & pretty tasteless. Even the dog wasn?t keen to eat the inedible for humans bits. Definitely will never go back.

Unfortunately, our meal was the worst example of traditional fish and chips possible! Neither fish or battered sausage were cooked to order. The batter on both was soggy and not pleasant to eat yet the meagre cod somehow managed to be dry?. The sausage was like warm at best and the chips very greasy. A shame as only popped in whilst passing through and don?t normally leave negative reviews.

Got some chips for us and fish and chips for my father in law. The chips were very good and my father in law said his fish was really good. Big portions.

In order not to waste time, I phoned a head and placed an order. I was told it would be ready to collect in fifteen minutes. I would therefore expect the order to be ready when I got there. But no not even started to get it ready. Honestly of you tell a customer it will be ready in fifteen minutes it should be ready.

Ordered a mince beef & onion pie with chips. Got home opened my food and the pie was frozen!
