Stunning location and good food. The fish and chips was good, very crispy and generous. The steak with chimichurri sauce was lovely, with steak cooked perfectly. Take time to visit the church and cemetery across the street and wonder the area. This makes for a great day out.

We had a wonderful meal yesterday evening. The quality of the food was very good and the staff were warm and friendly. Dating from the 16th century, this refined country pub with rooms is 1.4 miles from Box Hill & Westhumble railway station and 6.5 miles from horse racing at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
