They don?t know what coins are!? I rarely, if ever, use cash but my late father left a pile of spare change I attempted to use. After the self service tills broke and the poor souls tried tried in vain to fix them, I was kindly taken to the customer service desk. The lady couldn?t count above 20p. Either she suffers from dyscalculia, or has never handled cash before. Either way, it was super weird that no one helped her. What ever happened to teamwork?! Support one another, especially when a colleague is clearly struggling.

Broken coffee machine, no sign on it to show it's broken, even after informing staff.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from the two guys in the Tesco Mobile shop, within the leatherhead superstore, today. I needed a SIM card and inexpensive PAYG type contract, for my elderly father with Alzheimers. They explained everything clearly, helped we weigh up the pros and cons of the different tariffs and then went out if their way to set up the SIM for me, which was very kind.

Been using this store occasionally for the past two years as work in Dorking and is the only large supermarket open at 6.30. I go there to purchase things for my lunches for work or things that we may need at home. It's convenient as it means I can go straight home. Id noticed recently that staff had been watching me whilst walking around the store which has made me feel rather uncomfortable and I'd been thinking about not using them but going to the Sainsbury's in Dorking. I understand shoplifting has become a major problem in this country and I know what the staff have to put up with as I worked for Sainsbury's for 18 years but today was the final straw. I went to the till to.pay for the items I had and as I went to pay I noticed the security guard stood right by the till where I was. He strained himself to look into my trolley. I was so incensed as the products I had came to £50, that is turned to the two till ladies and told them I no longer wanted the items. I refuse to give my custom to a company that treats me like a petty thieve. I am 52 years old and have never and would never steal anything in my life!! I won't be back !!!

Wednesday morning before Easter and 3 tills open. Queues of 3 or 4 trolleys on each of these tills. Terrible planning.

Gone downhill a bit lately. Frequently there are no trolleys in the coral next to the entrance and they do not open the scan as you shop till area. Needs to get back to previous better rating.

Went to wales and stoped to buy some cans of cider and beer. The store assistant denied to sell me those because apprently some family tried to purchase similar items before and she denied that sale- so she suspected I was buying it for proxy for them- even I was travelling to the store alone. Thing that didn?t make sense and I?m almost 40. Spoke to the manager and started singing the same lines. Asked what that previous family looked like- but she assured me it not a racial thing! I tried to argue a little bit but it was like trying to reason with a chimp. It?s either they are a bit racist and trying to take out their frustration to some easy target or not particularly bright and do a power trip! So instead of standing and wasting my time with them, I left, hoping natural selection is going to take care of these dum dums ?.

Today, I had a bit of a meltdown in Tesco. First Father?s Day without my dad. A lovely lady who works in the store called Hayley gave me a hug and took time out of her day to talk to me. I?m so grateful
