I have just had a very unpleasant customer experience in Majestic Leatherhead. They are usually very helpful but the ?Boss Lady? as her name tag referred was unhelpful. bordering on rude and the returns policy for unused wine did not match up with the conditions advised to us when we purchased. I would not recommend this store.

Convenient location off the M25, but keeping the store open until the actual closing time is clearly too inconvenient for the staff there. Turned up 30 minutes before the store closed to find the shutters down and staff blocking the car park so they could close the gates

Sadly, we did not have a great experience in here today. Majestic team members (across all branches) are usually friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the lady behind the tills did not seem interested in offering any assistance whatsoever, and quite frankly, did not seem as if she wanted to deal with customers.
It is such a shame as this branch seems to have good reviews, but because of this experience, we won?t be back and wouldn?t recommend this branch to anyone wanting to visit.
Hopefully the service improves for future customers.

Hired glasses and bought booze for my 60th. Cannot recommend enough . All the staff esp Abbie were so helpful. Very efficient service and highly recommend

Awesome! Wayne was super helpful, got exactly what I was looking for and more! (Was "persuaded" to have a quick taster, and ended up finding two more delicious wines!)Was also told about their wine club, master classes and tasting sessions - definitely a big (great variety) store with family-run/small business approach! I left feeling like I had hung out with friends (hahaha, they're either brilliant, or I'm just sad. ??? I'm going with "they're brilliant"!!)Will definitely be back... Regularly :)

If you prefer your wine to be explained to you and given the opportunity to sample some, then perhaps a sole retailer like Majestic is the place to visit. They hold wines from most corners of the world, from little known brand to the best, but not Chateaux Petrus. Staff are willing to help even if they are not au fait with a particular product, but let them surprise you. Enjoy
