“From the moment we walked in the reception staff were brilliant. My wife had very recently had an accident and was walking with the aid of crutches. Before we'd even got to the desk to check in, the receptionist was looking to see if there was a ground floor room available and switched us to one. The restaurant staff and food quality were all exceptional at dinner and breakfast. We'll definitely look at booking with De Vere again”

“Clean room and facilities, got a good night's sleep, it was quiet on the top floor. A bit basic, but pretty much all you need. As there is no air con, the room was very warm, but a fan (that needed cleaning) was provided which was very much needed. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. To get more stars they'd need more plug or power sockets, provide bathroom lotions etc (the shower dispenser was empty but luckily I always bring mini ones from Boots), fix creaky floors, and clean the fans, and maybe provide other facilities. Didn't need the WiFi, I had plenty of phone signal. Breakfast box was very OK. Was nice to have an optional late checkout though.”
