I just bought my first house! and how fortunate I was to have had such an amazing experience. The stories I have heard from first time buyers left me apprehensive to enter an estate agency. But, after walking through Leatherhead high street and passing multiple agency I peered into the window of Cubitt & West. I was delighted to see how friendly the staff appeared. Immediately upon entering I was greeted with warm smiles and a good afternoon. A lady, very well dressed and professional introduced herself. What can I say the rest is history. We went through all my preferences, likes, dislikes and things I hadn't even considered. My details were collected, and I was added to their data base. A few days later I received a call from the same lady and was informed of a new build meeting my criteria. I had spent the entire previous week looking, and I was so exhausted. I was quite appreciative of both the call and how promptly it occurred. I scheduled a showing and fell in love with the home right away. Jayde was informative and knowledgeable. A nerve-racking offer was submitted and few days later accepted! The ball was rolling and Jayde from her first hello to her congratulation?s kept me update-to-date throughout the whole journey to purchasing my first home. Moved in and had a few snags on the electrics not working. Nothing has been done since February.Not even had a working oven for the last 6 weeks. It's awful and cubit and west just don't care.Cigarette butts found in dishwasher after an apparent professional clean which I'm yet to see the invoices for.Not one call has been made to update me, no letter, nothing.Very poor attitude once you've moved in from a tenants point. I have kids, I'm a single dad and these monsters left us without the ability to cook for 6 weeks. They didn't care they didn't help they just left me and my kids to it. Shocking experience.If you want dirty cupboards, disgusting dishwashers and zero service and the them to try and up the rent every year as standard (say no to that and they go away) then Cubit and West are your people.Landlords avoid them. Disgusting service, dirty properties and stealing your deposit is standard.They also try and up your rent as part of their renewal process, every year without fail. But, and here's the win. If you say no, they don't chase you, they just leave it because they don't ask the landlords, they just do it as a process which is disgusting to say the least.Try that when they try to hike it next time and save yourself the money.Shocking business model set up for landlords to bully tenants

We recently sold our property with the team help from Cubitt & West having bought through them several years prior. We mostly dealt with Brooke,Emma, Andy and Nic who helped us through the sale of our property from valuations, viewings and legals. I am not a client but recently bought a property through them.I used a solicitor they recommended called DC Law from Liverpool. They are the worst solicitors I have ever dealt with. The provided shocking customer service and took 5.5 months to complete the transaction. Shame on C & W in recommending them and no doubt getting a kick back, given they know full well of the appalling service provided. So do NOT use DC Law under any circumstances!

Fantastic agent. I'm always a little sceptical when it comes to agents but this agent were completely honest with me from day one. Managed to sell my SO flat within 4 days of being listed and recommended a fantastic solicitor who has been extremely helpful for both my sale and onwards purchase. Thanks Cubitt and West. Can?t recommend the team enough, from start to end they have made the process as smooth as possible. Beginning with Frank who was excellent from the viewing and following up with this, you would think he has been working in the industry for years (fantastic service). In addition the rest of the team has great communication throughout, Andy, Brooke and Juliana have gone out their way to make everything happen. If you are looking for a property, this is the place.

We have faced a couple of challenges in finding the right buyer for our house for reasons outside of anyones control & the team at Cubitt & West couldn't have done any more for us in terms of generating interest and showing potential buyers around our property.
