I like this pharmacy as it is local with what used to be good links to my GP, the IT link where they can request prescriptions for you has stopped since May, now you need an app. Not sure if this is a good idea.I like the Pharmacy Assistant often at the front desk. She has a gentle, conscientious manner and knows my name without needing to ask. With the number of locum pharmacists in there, she is often the one who can solve any problems as she provides continuity and understanding of the systems.It would nice if they answered the phone from time to time though! End up having to visit in person to make an enquiry.

Shocking service?.. no eye contact or greeting. I had an urgent prescription that needed to be taken immediately and they told me it would be ready in 5 days and when I said I needed it today they said they had to get permission from head office. You can?t collect a prescription unless they have sent you a text notification then you get told off for not collecting it when they haven?t told you it is ready. When you ask to consult a pharmacist it could be a private matter regarding your health that you want to talk to them about and you don?t want some disinterested assistant relaying messages to them?I doubt they would have got the information passed via them correct anyway.

Phone goes unanswered. No notification medication ready for collection. Poor, unfriendly customer service. Being short staffed is no excuse for unhelpful attitude. A smile costs nothing

I keep giving this pharmacy the benefit of the doubt but after a further 2 terrible recent experiences I will not be going back. I was even asked if I wanted the antibiotics for my 2 year old made up? I?m not a pharmacist so yeah I?d like the medicine to be able to give to my child??

Been using this pharmacy for several years because it's closest to me but it never gets any better. Today's fiasco involved going to collect a prescription for which I had received a text yesterday, informing me it was ready. In the pharmacy they told me the script wasn't there and denied sending the text, even though I showed it to them. The inference must be then, that I sent it to myself. Asked to return after 3pm which I duly did, only to be told the drugs still weren't ready, accompanied by a surly half hearted apology. I have asked the staff to expedite this or I will end up going into withdrawal over a forthcoming BH weekend, when scant medical resources will be available. Will they care? I doubt it.

I went there twice and they asked me to wait 15 min before even asking what i need.. no one would wait that long just to buy paracetamol!! i am a pharmacist and I know how a pharmacy should operate! They need to provide a better service not sure if the owner knows these details!

I had a very poor experience at this pharmacy, on 2 occasions. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy if you need medicines the same day they are prescribed by the doctor. Staff mentioned they had only received part of the prescription when in fact when my surgery called to check with them they then verified they had indeed received the other part of the prescription. The other occasion they said to me to come back on a certain day for medicines but when I got there they had not had it prepared and said they needed to order it in for the following day.

I visited the Pharmacy today and was extremely impressed. The pharmacist recommended medication for my head cold, headache, itchy eyes and runny nose. He asked what medication I was taking and told me what would not be advisable. I feel much better this evening. Almost no signs of the earlier symptoms. The chemist seems to be well stocked, efficient and clearly disperses a lot of prescriptions.

They don't care about people's medical needs. If fact, their front end staff have no empathy or understanding. Their back office staff have no urgency with regards to ordering medicines they receive prescriptions for. You can to walk in there and raise the roof for management to do anything. For someone who has blood pressure issues, not caring to order when sufficient notice was given, is not acceptable. Making an arrangement, taking payment and the robbing your client, regardless if it's 10 pound is scandalous. Reading reviews is important. Gave them the benefit of the doubt as they are the 'local' is now gone. Don't waste your money or patience.

It's about time the Senior Management Team @ Rowlands got to grips with this pharmacy and sorted it out and put reliable staff in place that can open up on time. It's always closed or opens late.

It?s the closest pharmacy to my house and we normally go there if we need to collect prescription. The staff are very nice and we have no problem

Service has really gone downhill, prescriptions being misplaced, the computer system always seems to be down or bits not working therefore prescriptions not being done, items not being ordered and you can't even get the prescription printed to get it filled elsewhere.

We have been using the pharmacy for years. We loved it when Mrs Kingshott worked there, her lovely nature and warm smile. Now we have Raj and again he?s very good at his job. It?s nice to see that he remembers his customers and greets them with their name. He went out of his way to help my Mother and her prescription with the GP as such short notice. Thank you!
