From a foreign tourist perspective, this was a great store. Clean, lots of selection, and easy to navigate and check out. Lots of (to us) unique items. Good liquor, beer, and wine selection. Staff were pleasant. They have a cool hand held scan and pay thing but you can't use it unless you have a membership card, so maybe try and get one before you go. They also had a little cafe inside, but it was closed at the time. Good hours opening earlier and until later than other supermarkets around. Big parking lot.

Waitrose is a great store, maybe pricier than M & S ; quality equal to M & S.!Connected to Shell garages. Part of John Lewis.. The flagship store is in Canary Wharf but the bigger ones are in
Most places. Staff are most helpful.
For something good and cheaper try Aldi, Lidl.

Good selection of groceries - one of the supermarkets in the neighbour I visited most often! Would sometimes see Big issue vendor Paul near the parking area selling magazine - very friendly and genuine guy. Do stop by and get the latest edition ?

Such a shame, I was so disappointed that there were absolutely NO VEGAN options except for a brownie. We came for breakfast and my son has a milk allergy, there was no options for him to eat anything other than a brownie. No options of sandwiches, cakes, breakfast rolls etc. how hard would it be to offer a vegan sandwich or roll or something. Won't be coming back

Went to Waitrose Horley about 4pm on Friday 20th Oct. Tried to do self check out and it kept going wrong. Staff member Clare was very helpful and kind and sorted the issues I had lost patience. Thank you Clare.

It's a Waitrose, so you know what to expect. Just be careful. 2 hours max in car park, any longer and they'll find you. Nice - not!

A huge thank you to Louise this morning. Work sent me out to get sandwiches for lunch but the sandwich chiller was closed off. I asked the lady what was happening and she said it was not working. She stopped her task, took my order, and went out the back and found what I wanted. How nice is that? You are a credit to the store/company and I hope they appreciate you. Thank you again - wish I could give more than 5 stars.

What?s good idea, Waitrose returns for John Lewis items, such an easy return process, then went shopping for some bit and pieces that I don?t need ???????????
