The place is okay and I can't say that the staff members were not nice. However what put me off was the fact that your staff members are not provided with tongs or gloves when they do the iced coffee or generally dealing with food.\nI do not think it is very health and safety for your staff members to just grab the ice cubes with their bare hands and put them in the glass....\nI am not aware why you don't have a specific procedure when doing certain type of drinks.....

Came specifically to meet a colleague here as stated closed at 18:00 on arrival found it was closing at 17:00. Waitrose need to keep their opening hours updated.

Such a shame, I was so disappointed that there were absolutely NO VEGAN options except for a brownie. We came for breakfast and my son has a milk allergy, there was no options for him to eat anything other than a brownie. No options of sandwiches, cakes, breakfast rolls etc. how hard would it be to offer a vegan sandwich or roll or something. Won't be coming back

What a lovely place for a coffee and a bite to eat. Fairly unknown unless you shop at the store but that is what makes it such a gem. The cafe is clean and peaceful with a book swap area. The girls serving were attentive and polite. The food was delicious (I highly recommend the Welsh rarebit) and all in all it was a comfortable and pleasant cafe even with a young child!Kid-friendliness: Perfectly equipped for child diners - they offer a very reasonably priced children's lunchbox and have ample highchairs.
