Mainly avoid this store as the parking is ridiculously tight but as my usual is temporarily closed, I do occasionally visit.
Quite a small store, but a new one is being built very close by.

It's a Lidl. It's a small shop so they are often out of stock of items. There's a new, larger branch being built at the moment, just a few hundred yards up the road. I expect this one will close once it's completed and open.

I?ve now stopped shopping here. Customer service non existent. The amount of times I have been rude to here or witnessed it towards other customers particularly by the blonde grumpy woman who is always so angry to everyone. Often hollering across at various people like hey are naughty school children. Unhelpful attitude. I?ve seen the tall manager being very grumpy with customers also. I get some customers can also be unpleasant to deal with but don?t treat us all like that. Recently I had a wheelie basket and the young chap at the till said I couldn?t take it down to my car. No offer of help juts said I?d have to get a trolley. I see piles of them down there. I?d also just had to move tills after being put in one then told to get all my groceries off the belt and move to the next one because they changed their minds!! You know what Lidl, employ a trolley person like all the other stores then we wouldn?t have to be searching for trolleys and baskets in the first place. He was so cold, didn?t say he?d get someone to get help and just expected me to jump ship at the point of sale to get one myself. I guess because there just aren?t enough staff in here. Not my problem! He treated me like I?d done something wrong which really made me quite annoyed. Maybe when the new store opens it will be better and Lidl head office will put some customer service training in place, or get nicer staff, maybe they?ll remember that without customers there is no Lidl, and then maybe I?ll come back?.

Visited last week for the first time since the Crawley Lidl is closed and this might be the strangest Lidl I've ever been to. The store layout is horrendous. Everything's placed and ordered in extremely unintuitive places in the store. Why is Batts ketchup completely missing. After I finally picked up everything I wanted, I asked one staff member if they had any screenwash (wiper fluid). Unsure and apparently never heard of such a thing, she asked a senior staff member if they had any. The guy confidently said no they don't stock any, which you know fair enough. I don't expect to find everything I want in any given store - except.. There was a pile of screenwash literally inches behind him, which I saw after he walked off...

First time here because Lidl Crawley is under renovation and unfortunately experienced bad service.
Rude male staff, the one stand by at the self service are on 25 May around 12 pm. We use a big trolley with alot of stuff and struggle to find the exit door to the parking area, and somehow the trolley was stuck since we came out through the wrong entrance. Our bad, yes. Thats why we seek help from the staff since we cannot move it and UNFORTUNATELY, can only find him available since I saw him do nothing and just stand there staring blankly at people. I asked him so politely, but guess maybe he has personal problems or doesn?t want to help people at all. He just showing the direction using his hand and doesn?t even bother to talk with me properly. Even after i mentioned 2 times that our trolley stuck outside. I asked him nicely to please can you help me to figure out how to move it back? Then he just walking right away as if not willing to help us at ALL. We came to give business and pay the things we bought, we expect staff can treat us nicely at the least bare minimum.
However that lady at the cashier is really nice and helpful. She really knows hot to do her job well even in the rush hour and hectic surroundings. Wish her have a pleasant day ahead. Thank you for helping us ?
