What happened to the cookies?! I remember this place when the cookies were homemade and big and warm. Now I had to ask where the cookies were, and found 3 varieties sat sadly in jars away from the counter. The cookies didn't taste or look homemade and they were super hard and plain in favour. Won't visit again which is a real shame

Stopped by with some friends on our way to a stroll around the Bowl, and we're all very happy that we did. The place had a great atmosphere, the ladies behind the counter were really friendly and made a fuss of the dog. On top of that, the coffee was excellent and the bacon, Brie & cranberry toasties super tasty. We'll be back, highly recommended

We went to this lovely cosy cafe on the way home from an off road trail ride. We were really dirty and a bit worried about making a mess but the people couldn?t have been more welcoming. We had epic coffee and also really good quality tasty food. I had a New York style bagel which was delicious and a lovely piece of cake and my friends had a range of other things. This is a cracking place. And has lots to offer. We highly recommend.

Went last Friday the kitchen was closed. This used to be an excellent cafe but has gone massively downhill. It was cosy and homely but now is no different to a High street coffee shop. So disappointing as it is supposed to be for Stepping Stones a charity.

We stopped by while looking for Arthur Conan Doyle's house. The young man pointed it out and there seemed to be a connection. In short, a nice cuppa and great use of history.

Popped by after a trip to the dentist. Friendly staff, bought some cookies to take away and they were excellent. The other food looked great so will definitely be back!

We had the most delicious flan and lovely fresh side salad. Served by friendly and welcoming staff. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. And excellent value for money, too. Highly recommended.
