Really sad have visited times before and the service even when busy has been great Yesterday not so. Waited 15 mins plus to have order taken food was fabulous as always, waited for plates to be collected and in the end went to counter where there were a collection of staff chatting and not keeping an eye on customers asked for plates to be collected and could we order cake, the waitress said she would come and take order after I had come back from bathroom waited 20 minutes it wasn?t busy in the restaurant late afternoon and still no one appeared so we went up paid bill and left our plates still to be collected?.. I would have understood if at that point it had been busy but the collection of staff chatting and not observing the restaurant was very disappointing? not sure I will vist again.

The perfect coffee, Lovely atmosphere and brilliant service from Neil. Soo attentive and always soo happy, Main reason I use the coffee shop is his service.

Ordered a Latte and Raspberry cake, service was excellent, Latte was hot and the cake was to die for.

Have visited a couple of times but was pretty disappointed with my most recent visit. We were not greeted as we came in and it took a while for someone to even notice we had set down despite greeting and serving customers who arrived after us. We then ordered the sausage ciabatta which I?d have to say is one of the worst sausage sandwiches I?ve ever had, the sausages had absolutely no flavour at all and did not taste like real sausages. This is a real disappointment as they are not cheap sandwiches. Am not sure that I will visit again as I was so disappointed.

This place looks lovely from the front. Clean, neat & tidy, with lovely displays of teas etc. unfortunately there was no sign to say no dogs, so we ventured in. Someone approached & said they did not allow dogs. I don?t know who this person was until they offered to put the outside heater on. On reflection, it might be a good idea to have clear signage & perhaps even a uniform for employees, ensuring people know who is serving them. Corporate identity & first impressions count.

The best cafe in this area without exception. Great service, delicious food and polite and friendly staff. I visit almost every weekend, always has a wonderful atmosphere.

Much prefer a smaller coffee shop to the high street chains. Very quirky with a Moroccan theme in the decor. Lots of staff buzzing about for not many customers. It had a family fun feel to it. I?m not a coffee person but do appreciate a good hot chocolate. I ordered the fully loaded hot chocolate and it was one of the best.

My friend and I popped in for a quick sandwich and cup of tea and ended up staying for a couple of hours. A lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We had toasted sandwiches, tea and cold drinks. They were the best sandwiches we have had for years. Fresh and quality ingredients. Tea arrived piping hot and with water to top up. Highly recommended! Couldn?t fault a thing. Will definitely be returning ?

I love chocolate cake! BUT a lot of cafes I've ordered it in, provide something that's too sugary, dry or virtually tasteless. Well top marks to Hemingways. They heated the slice a little (just right) and, on request, provided cream. One of the best chocolate cake slices I've had in a long time. Chocholatey, moist and just the right level of sweetness. Don't change things, I'll be back for more chocolate cake!!!
