Had a fab lunch at this lovely place. Great sandwiches, superb chips, a chilled white and a great view over the lake. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend

Great setting overlooking a lake just outside of Guildford! Visited recently for a meeting and an overnight stay after. Food was top notch, a great pint of Young?s (post work of course). Looking forward to a visit in the warmer months.

came to Surrey for dashing donkeys, popped into the youngs pub for some dinner.
The food is absolutely superb, seasoned and cooked to perfection! highly recommended for a stunning plate of food at a very reasonable price for the standard and execution of all the dishes we tried. even the batter and mushy peas were perfectly on point!
Wonderful staff, beautiful venue. don't miss out if you're driving nearby

No acknowledgment from staff that we were even there not forthcoming with anything, lunch menu isn?t all that, and the food was mediocre, such a shame as it?s a beautiful setting, the staff need to be more welcoming and acknowledge that they have customers who deserve a warm welcome and a friendly service!

Stayed here 2 nights, lovely staff, excellent food and standout outside space with beautiful lawns surrounding a lake. Our double room was a bit small but fine, the bathroom suffered from a lack of storage space. Plenty of parking available. This is a great place to stay to visit Wisley Gardens, which are only 15 minutes away. Overall a very nice hotel.

Well worth a visit. The staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble.\\nAlready booked to go back in June. Took our dog, allowed in the bar area, not in the Restaurant..excellent choice of menu and drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.\\nOur room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were fabulous, good size room and bathroom. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and had dinner last evening. The food and service was first class, the staff can't do enough for you. Definitely worth a visit.

My experience at Worplesdon Place was certainly a positive one. For starters they have a beautiful lake, which for me personally is a non-negotiable when it comes to choosing somewhere to go for a bite to eat. The Guinness was poured well, so well in fact that I left with an underlying guilt, since I failed to split the G, otherwise it would?ve been one of my favourite Guinness experiences. However unfortunately the company I was with let me down, perhaps she was so distracted by such a beautiful lake that she forgot I was even there! Needless to say I won?t be seeing her again, but I will certainly be returning to the hotel!

Went for a very sunny roast in a beautiful garden location. And both proved to be exceptional. Sadly the price did not! So be aware great food, although menu to high brow and £19 for a chicken roast. Hhhhmmmm. But its on the right path, with kids welcome and busy playing in the garden. Parents with friends enjoying the sun, chat and buckets of wine. But because of costs, it was ?s empty. Cheaper, simpler menu and the place will always be packed on a sunny weekend.

Great location, but the beds where hard, room old fittings, noise from heating duct outside our window. Manager rude to guests and shouting at staff.Rooms: Dated, hard beds, noisy, stuffy.

Stayed here for a family get together, which we have done many times over the years as it is s nice location. Very disappointed with our stay this time, Manger was very rude to members of our family, blaming them for eating food which had been served up to them by mistake, that they had paid for. The rest of the staff are great, but this French guy is like Basil Fawlty, shouting at staff in front of guests. The room was awful, number 19 has a heating duct outside the window that is noisy all night. Bed was so hard we woke up with back ache. Rest of family said much the same. Such a shame as the we love the location and garden, but will have to find a new location for our family gathering.

Just returned. We had dinner last night and stayed on a bed and breakfastdasis with our dog.The property is in a beautiful setting, from the minute we arrived until we left all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was a good size, comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were superb, excellent powerful shower and proper large towels. We have already booked to go back for three day's in June as well as looking to book in for August. I honestly can't praise it enough.

I stayed here on a business trip, it was a last minute booking but I did have a little bit of time to review. Upon arrival I was given a ground floor room that was in the adjoining building, All I can say was it was filthy and smelted damp I was shocked how bad it was, I actually found myself spending most of the evening in the pub next door doing emails to avoid been in the room, I slept in some old clothes I had and left as early as I could. Grim.

Only stayed for a night , as had an appointment in Guildford, I was delighted with all aspects . Travelling alone I selected a single bed rate and was not disappointed. I ate in the pub and gad room service . I would definitely return again if in the area . Lovely gardens and a pond , excellent
