Really disappointed with vision express, I had two appointments booked. Tried ringing several times to confirm. No answer. Got there to find they had been cancelled. Manager insisted that a colleague had rung and left a voicemail which was completely untrue.

Valeria provided me a warm welcome, making me comfortable while explaining different options that i could choose from. She dedicated her attention to help me choose frames, even taking pictures and videos. Due to my vision impairment, I relied on her assistance. Valeria went the extra mile, offering a store voucher after I hinted at affordability. Her friendly demeanor and genuine smile enhanced the overall positive experience. Grateful for her exceptional service. Don't ever stop smiling lady...

Really was a 5 star experience. Been at various different opticians over the years of wearing glasses (Boots, Specsavers, private opticians) but the service I received was second to none. Decided not to go with Specsavers glasses and instead on a friend?s recommendation try Vision Express. Anya in the Guildford branch is a credit to the store - she was so, so patient and understanding helping me try on different glasses to find a different style, encouraged me to take the time to phone my other half to get someone else?s thoughts and take photos too of the ones I like. Such a kind, thoughtful and lovely member of staff - I will 100% be returning to Vision Express in future for my eye tests and glasses thanks to Anya?s service. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Vision Express store Guildford and received exceptional customer service from Tota. I was greeted warmly upon entering the store and Tota made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer, She actively listened to my preferences and requirements, providing expert advice and suggestions that really helped me make an informed decision.What set Tota apart was their patience and willingness to answer all of my questions without rushing me. They took the time to explain various lens options and offered recommendations based on my prescription and lifestyle.Moreover, Tota's friendly and engaging demeanor made the whole shopping experience enjoyable. They were personable, attentive, and genuinely interested in ensuring my satisfaction. Tota went above and beyond to address my concerns and ensured that I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

Horrible Horrible Service! ! 1 month later and I'm sill waiting. Found out staff forgot to place the order in the first place, then failed to notify me when the glasses eventually arrived in store. This can't be normal surely? I didn't think anyone could get worse than Specsavers but this branch of Vision Express has outdone itself. Well Done!

Didn?t have a good experience at Vision Express Guildford for my regular check up yesterday. I was waiting for 5 minutes at the desk before someone appeared looking very bored and uninterested in being there. Then, for the initial part of the exam someone was being trained, which is absolutely fine with me - but the man training her didn?t tell me when the puffs of air would be coming, which, as someone with sensitive eyes, was really unpleasant. When I said something I was met by a rude and dismissive response as though I was asking for far too much. Not sure how that?s showing a new starter good practise? Thank goodness for Aidan who saved the whole afternoon for me with his kind and helpful manner. Don?t think I?ll be going back to this branch for a while.

Went twice to have a simple hinge fix.First time, it was clearly bent a member of staff told me it was normal and just tighten the screws instead.Second time, i think it may have been a student but she was too afraid to adjust it and tweakedvonly a tiny bit whilst advising me itll be on me to pay for a new one if its damaged if i permitted her with full confidence.So just went back to my old vision express in wimbledon and they did everything smoothly no fuss. :/ wouldnt recommend the inexperienced group in guildford.

Went to get an eye test for the first time in years after I noticed my eyesight declining. Amy helped me from start to finish, after I had my test I had to choose some frames and Amy was there like a friend to help me choose honestly what looks best. Thank you Amy for my great new glasses!

Went into this branch in Guildford and was seen by a lovely sales girl called Evie. She was truly excellent. She made me feel at ease and gave me the time to tell me what sunglasses best suited my face shape. Went with her recommendation and I am very pleased. Thank you.

Absolute terrible branch of vision express, changing back to my old branch and driving further out where the staff are lovely compared to here. 2 times now they've completely messed my order and have been absolutely rude. Young untrained female staff with worst customer service skills. Also got told over the phone I hadn't paid when I always pay on collection then 2 minutes later her saying oh her I see here you've paid.. never normally do reviews but this one is warranted. I've never had contacts sent to my address always collect and I make sure when I order and never wait more than 3 days for them. 1 + week later still not there call up and told need to wait as can be longer then they proceeded to send them to my address without my knowledge. I do not live there anymore and what if circumstances was I couldn't go to that address? Reply was can't you get them then come in store and pay. Disgusting really. Low and behold called my other branch with the most friendly service and my contacts was ready for collection the very next day. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid Guildford

My eye test was carried out very well. Five stars! Sadly, from there, the experience rapidly deteriorated. The young staff were clearly inexperienced (I already knew which glasses I wanted). They then told my lenses were over £300 for a regular prescription! That's more than twice the price of frames! When I questioned this, almost £100 was knocked off. They also guaranteed my glasses would be ready to collect in plenty of time for my holiday in two weeks time. Oh dear. Far from it - eight days after placing the order, the online order tracker tells me they not beyond the order confirmation stage! I tried to contact the branch to speak to them but after being on hold for over 45 minutes I gave up. Vision Express? In my opinion, they have failed to offer an 'Express' service at all. An if you want 'Vision', based on my experience, look elsewhere.
