Visited the Guildford store to purchase some bathroom tiles. Excellent service from Michael who was extremely helpful in showing us the many choices of tiles for our bathroom floor and walls. Michael checked the stock levels too. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. A pleasure to visit.

Excellent. Very helpful staff. They managed to match up the wall tiles I needed to complete an unfinished project which had been inherited! Also gave good advice for replacing damaged floor tiles.

Tried getting some certain trim tiles from another well known tile dealership and had a nightmare...so gave up and popped to topps tiles.
The tiles were slightly more pricey but topps matched it.Guy that served me was polite and had no probs helping with matching the price...no quibles.

We are undergoing a significant renovation on our house and as part of this project, we were looking to furnish three WC/bathrooms and tile two of them. Staff at the Guildford branch were friendly enough when we visited and browsed but what we are finding after researching products and suppliers (both store-based chains and online providers), are that Topps Tiles can be pricier in relative terms even compared to those firms have bricks and mortar stores.
For the tiles we eventually bought (not from Topp Tiles unfortunately), the prices we ended up paying by going elsewhere were at least 30-50% cheaper for equivalent products (even after taking into account trade discounts through our builder).
Yes, Topps Tiles do formally have a "lowest price guarantee" which we did try to use (by sending them the information and web links required to substantiate our claim) and to be fair, one of the General Managers did get back to us to ask for details on areas and number of tiles required (in order for them to determine "what level of discounts they can match") but it seemed to me like a token gesture. After we sent the information, they did not get back to us (at least in time for us purchase elsewhere).
Overall, if you are looking for tiles, looking around for equivalent products is worthwhile (sometimes, they come under guises of different names). It also depends on whether you know what you want/ need -- the storefront displays and ground level staff at Topps Tiles are friendly, helpful and ready to guide you, but you have to determine what premium these are worth. In our eyes, certainly not 30-50% extra.
