Poached eggs on toast and a coffee. Most eggscellent. Stopped while out cycling. Good service. Could do with a few more places to secure your bike. I was so eager to eat I forgot to take a photo.

Excellent breakfast! Very good quality food, well cooked. Gristle-free sausages!!! Perfect 'over-easy' eggs! And no piped beat-noise!!!

Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely cozy cafe. Great for a summer's day cake, or a winter's day cuppa!Update: despite spending over £200 on a birthday breakfast for 14 people, you are not allowed to eat, or even CUT! A cake on thier premises, I will not be using them again for a birthday breakfast, not a thing was mentioned during our booking, arrival with our cake, only once we had eaten and the cake was requested!! So disappointed with them for this... we had to stand on Newlands, cutting a cake in the wet!!!

Very cute place, the staff is cute and polite, pet friendly ??.I'm giving 4 stars only because the coffee was a little bit burnt, other than that it was brilliant, I'll come back soon!!

I was on a trip to Guildford and this place was highly rated online. The food is fantastic and "The B-B-Q" sandwich with sweet potato fries is what I would get again.

We had a great experience here the other day. This cafe restaurant was busy so we had to park a newlands corner across the road. The staff were friendly and even though it was busy the service was quick. We both ordered burgers for lunch, which cost £16 each. My own burger was the plucky pheasant beef burger, with cheddar and chilli jam. This was a mighty burger, that had a great taste, texture and was filled with toppings. It came with crispy french fries and a salad.Loved this burger! My other half ordered the Southern fried chicken burger which was also good, though not as epic as the beef burger.Worth knowing this is a dog friendly cafe, and at busy times like this there were about 10 dogs in the tented area where we were seated. All well behaved and a joy to see ?Parking: At busy times you may need to park across at newlands corner.

First time visiting the cafe with friends and our dog. Very warm welcome even with a mucky pup, excellent service, delicious food, great options for gluten free, delightful ambience. Such a beautiful walking area and then a perfect place to stop for a bite to eat. Highly recommended by us!

Just love this place! It's my favourite 'go to'... Today had a fabulous gf lunch, a walk then back for coffee and cake, with some lovely friends. We'll worth the 35 min drive from home. I just keep going back. Great salad. Fantastic range of cakes - too good a sized portions! If you can't park in the cafe, just across the road is a huge free car park.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gf choice.
